The Queen Has Fallen

"I can't believe you flipped her off like that"

they were sitting on a rooftop which Yeji wanted to show Mirae. Mirae was facing the railing and Yeji sat on the floor beside her. A soft cool breeze was flowing which made mirae relaxed a little bit. She understood why Yeji liked this place. It was, in fact, a really good getaway.

"Forget about making out of this place alive. " Yeji said with slightly furrowed eyebrows and a pout face. "It would be better if we jump off this roof right now cause we are done for."

Mirae chuckled at her. she found it funny when Yeji was exaggerating what happened before. She went to sit beside her and crossed her legs in front of her. " Why are You acting like that girl is going to eat us alive," Mirae asked. "Don't worry. She can't do anything to us."

"How are you so sure?" Yeji faced her. " You don't even know how she is. You just came here-"She paused for a second.

"Which makes me think- what exactly did you do that you came here"

Mirae pressed her lips together and looked ahead in some distance. " I just did what I should have done ages ago."

"Are you aware that you are not making any sense right now?" Yeji raised her eyebrows at her. " Come on you can tell me, I am all ears"

"This is a nice place" Mirae changed the topic " Would you mind if I use this place"

"Sure," Yeji said and she also faced in front. She knew Mirae didn't want to talk right now and she also didn't force her. She believed She would tell here later when she will be comfortable enough.

Both the girls came back in the classroom after some time. Yeji went out to bring something to drink. This school didn't have any rules and regulations. They would eat whenever they want, sleep whenever they want, and go out of the school grounds whenever they want.

Mirae was waiting for Yeji while listening to some music with her eyes closed when she suddenly had an urge to go to the bathroom. She went out of the classroom and since she didn't know where the washrooms were so she decided to look for them herself. She eventually found them after five minutes. This school was really small in comparison to her previous one.

She went into the bathroom stall and was doing her business when she heard some girls entering the washroom. She listened to them and estimated there were three of them in total. but one voice was familiar. It was the so-called 'queen'.

Mirae wasn't effected a bit. She went out of the stall without any hesitation. The three girls froze when they found out they weren't alone. Jiya made eye contact with Mirae through the mirror and smirked.

"Well, look who else is here" she turned around to face her "I am sure that friend of yours has warned you about us but you still had guts to come in front of me. I must say I am impressed"

Mirae smiled at her.

"Who wouldn't want to come face to face with her highness," Mirae said in a mocking tone which was not missed by Jiya. She narrowed her eyes at mirae who simply smiled more widely at her.

" Listen, girl, this is your first day here that's why I am letting you off today," Jiya took a step towards Mirae in a threatening manner which only made her smirk at her. "but if I catch you in front of me one more time, I will make sure you will meet your end."

"Nice try" Mirae smiled which annoyed Jiya to the core.

"Looks like I need to explain you in a more hardcore manner"

Jiya motioned the other two girls and they grabbed both of the Mirae's arms and pushed her to the wall. Jiya grabbed her hair and slapped her across the face. "You little shit think so highly of yourself," She slapped her again " I am sure this will make you know your place"

" Am I the one who thinks so highly of herself?" Mirae looked her in the eye as if challenging to touch her once again. Jiya raised her fist this time to punch her in the face but Mirae used the other two girls as an advantage to hoist herself a little bit and kicked Jiya in the chest who was pushed backward and her head hit the bathroom sink.

Mirae then elbowed the girl on her right, in the nose, who was distracted because of the queen on the floor. The girl immediately let her arm go and clutched her nose instead because of the nose bleed. Mirae used her right arm to grab the girl on her left by the shoulder and kicked her in the gut. From the corner of her eye, she saw Jiya get up to punch her but she still looked dazed when her head had hit the sink.

mirae needed only one punch to knock her out. The other two girls ran out of the bathroom when they saw a knocked out queen on the floor.

Mirae heard a low thud behind her. when she turned around to see Yeji standing behind her with eyes and mouth open. Two bottles of soft drinks lay beside her feet.

" Oh. My. God. Others need to see this." With that, she ran out of the bathroom.

Mirae was shocked to see that violence was again the only thing that saved her from a really bad beating. She also ran out of the bathroom to the only place she knew in the school.

"Guys! Mirae and Jiya fought in the washrooms! The Queen has fallen!" Yeji burst into the room shouting. This was enough for the whole classroom (which were present) to start talking at once and everyone started to run towards the washrooms.

Only the Dreamies remained in their seats. Haechan and Renjun glanced at each other and both stood at once to head towards the washrooms. The other four boys followed them. There was already a crowd outside the washrooms, but soon everyone automatically made way for them. Haechan entered the girl's washroom without any hesitation and saw an unconscious girl laying on the bathroom floor.

He squats down beside the girl to see a bruise forming on her cheekbone and a busted lip. Renjun and the others came to stand behind him.

" It must have been an interesting fight," Jeno said.

Haechan stood up and faced the others. "Let's go. We need to talk to someone"

The squad went out of the washroom and saw a bunch of very curious students. He put a hand in his pockets. "There's a new fish in the sea." with that the crowd understood that Min Jiya is no longer the queen.

"Hey, Hwang!" Haechan shouted.

"Me?" Renjun asked pointing at himself.

"No, I am calling the female one idiot."

"Who are you calling an idiot?"

Haechan ignored Renjun and went after Yeji who already heard him calling her. She had her hands clasped in front of her and looked at them nervously.

"Yes?"

"Call that friend of yours and tell her we want to meet."
