S-POV
I stood there in shock as Castiel ran down the red carpet and out the doors of the church. I hated Dean for this. First, he cheats. Then he doesn't even bother to show up at his own bloody wedding. Poor Cas. All Dean had to do was turn up and scribble his name down on a piece of paper and he couldn't even do that. Honestly? I dunno what Castiel sees in the man.I huffed loudly as the church doors slammed behind Castiel. Well shit. They're only getting a civil partnership. It's not like the man has commitment issues. I mean, he committed to cheating on Castiel for 3 and a half years, why can't he turn up and write his name on a piece of paper with his awful chicken scratch.
"Alright, everyone," I spoke, loudly so that every person in the hall could hear me, "As you can tell, my brother, Dean is a complete jerk and can't even turn up to his own... essentially... wedding. So if you could all politely make your way to the reception, that would be greatly appreciated. Help yourself to food and / or drinks. And get comfortable. This could take a while."
They all made their ways out of the church, quickly before getting into their cars and driving off. I turned to Gabriel, who was standing at the other end of the alter, and sighed, the tears gathering in my eyes. He ran over to me and wrapped his arms around me as best as he could.
"Samwhich?" I heard him say, quietly, "Samsquatch, stop crying and look at me." I sniffed and did as he said, smiling at the grin on his face.
"Gabe, what are you thinking?" I asked, cautiously. I was slightly concerned with the smirk on his face before he glanced over at the Pope.
"Samshine?" Gabriel said, his smile beaming, "Wanna get married?"
"What? Here? Now?" I stuttered, my brain not registering the fact that I could literally marry my best friend, crush and love of my life right here and right now. The shorter man nodded, eagerly. I grinned. "Okay then. Let's get married."
It wasn't anything big. Big was Dean's thing. We just signed the paper and gave each other our rings. We always kept them with us to remind ourselves that one day we will be married to each other. And no matter how far apart we were, the rings in our pockets were happy reminders that we love each other and will until the day we die.
"I love you, Samshine," Gabe said, quietly but I heard the quiver in his voice.
"Gabe? What's up?" I asked, frowning out of concern.
"There's something I need to tell you, Sam," He spoke, refusing eye contact. Now I knew something was up. He never calls me Sam, not even in an argument, "I... Um-"
"Gabriel?"
"Sammy, you know you keep protecting Cas and making out as if Dean's the bad guy?" He spoke, quietly but I still nodded, "Cas cheated on Dean too, you know? With Michael. I didn't know if you knew?"
"Wh-what?" I stuttered, astonished at what I was hearing, "S-s-seriously?" Gabriel nodded.
"Hey, Sampala, don't be sad. You don't have to think about that!" Gabriel said, softly, grabbing my hand and running his finger up and down that of my own, "We're married now, that's all you need to worry about."
Gabriel winked at me, pulling my hand up to his face and placing his lips on the tip of my finger. His lips stayed stationary for a moment or two before he pushed down my finger, flicking his tongue across it and grazing his teeth on my skin. He opened his eyes and gazed up at me, staring into my eyes as his lips moved effortlessly across my finger. My breath caught in my throat as Gabe removed his mouth from my finger and slipped his hand in mine, pulling me out of the building and towards our car.
