Crystal Clear....

chapter 13

I was falling. I was going to die. But for some reason I imagined that it was  all going to be ok..... I imagined that there would be a giant hand that will catch me. I dont know why I did this, but it was a habit I guess. When I was little, I was afraid to jump from heights.

But when I had to, I would imagine a surface that would catch me before a hit the ground. And when I reached the ground I thought the mystry hand always bought the ground closer to me than it was before.

So I did the same thing. I shut my eyes an imagined......
It was all a haze, people were shouting my name......
Finally I hit something. It hurt but not that bad........
It was an inclined surface which slid me to the ground.......
I still couldn't open my eyes. I was too scared.

Then I finally reached the ground. I opened my eyes to be greeted with the crystal gems, with wonder in their faces, as they checked if I was ok.

After I cooled down a bit, they told me that i had created a slide with emerald and it was one of my powers.

"I think you can walk on air!" Said amethyst.
"Yes, that has to be it." Said pearl.
"Now we need to find how you did it." Said garnet.
"I think I know how to control it!" I said. "I just imagined that something would catch me and put me to the ground. And that's exactly what happened!"

For the first time I actually knew how to control my power!

"I think this is how you control all of your powers." Said garnet.
"Because if that's how you do one of them, that's how you do all!" Said pearl.

It was then that I noticed I had a bandage tied on my arm.
"You were hurt pretty badly in the fight.... but I did not want to heal it because I wanted you to give it a go." Said Steven.

Using the new piece of information I got about my powers, I closed my eyes and imagined that the bruises and blood would go away and return to how it was before.

For the final reveal, I slowly opened the bandage from my hand to see if my powers had worked.

"It works! You did it alexis!" Said steven.
"Congratulations alexis." Said garnet.

I can't believe this! I can't believe I finally know how to control my powers!
It took just one year and a near death experience!
But I just want to be strong enough to battle bloodstone.
I really hope I am.
