Kayden's eyes fluttered opened and he look around the room. It was dark and scary. "Mama" he called then stood up in the crib, placing both his hands on the bars. "Mama" he called again but no one answered. Tears filled his eyes and he started crying. "Dada" he was scared being alone all by himself in a place that he didn't recognized. Few minutes later he stopped crying and just sat in the crib while looking around.
Smoke filled the air and Kayden started coughing, he could smell something burning and he didn't like it. "Nooo" he said while pointing at the smoke. The oven that Ethan left on, caught on fire and it was spreading. Most of the house was on fire but it didn't get to Kayden as yet. He just sat there watching everything unfold. Some parts of the roof started falling and he jumped. His poor little heart started beating faster. Kayden started crying again, he laid back down then turned his head to the other side so that he couldn't see the fire. He closed his eyes then shove his thumb in his mouth.

Levi was on his way to Ethan's house. He was hoping that they were there and nothing had happened. His jaw clenched and unclenched when he thought about what Kayden and Skylar must be going through. Levi was going so fast to get to the house. Turning left on the road his eyes widen when he saw Ethan's house on fire. Quickly stopping the car he got out and ran over to the door. Kicking it down. "Skylar" he called while carefully walking past the burning boards. Levi started coughing and he placed his shirt over his nose.
Kayden started crying when he heard Levi. "Dada" he called then stood up in the crib. The heat was intense and Kayden couldn't handle it. The curtains caught on fire and he started crying even louder.
"Kayden daddy's coming okay!" He shouted. There was fire everywhere and Levi didn't know where else to go. The door to the room that Kayden was in caught on fire. "Kayden" Levi sniffed, he wanted to cry so bad that he couldn't get to his baby boy. "No I have to save my son" he encouraged himself. His phone started ringing but he couldn't answer it so it went straight to voicemail.
"Levi I hope you are okay in there the fire fighters are on their way okay, please be alright"
A piece of board fell infront of Levi and his eyes widen. He jumped over it, pushing his weight against the door, he cried out in pain when he got burnt. The door fell to the ground and he saw Kayden laying down in the crib with his eyes shut. He quickly picked him up and placed him towards his chest. "Kayden please wake up it's daddy" Levi cried when he saw that Kayden passed out.
"We have to get out of here" Levi whispered. The door that he came through was blocked and he was running out of air. Levi looked up and he saw a window. Glancing around he saw something that he could use to break the window. He threw it a the window and it broke up into pieces. He knew he could hurt himself going through the window with all the broken glass, but it was the only way. He climbed on top of the bed with Kayden still in his arms. Wrapping both his arms around Kayden really tight so he wouldn't get hurt. He jumped through the window and landed on his back.
The sound of sirens filled the air and he sighed. He looked down at Kayden, tears filled his eyes when he saw how much pain his son was in and probably wouldn't make it. Levi was on the verge of passing out. He kissed the top of Kayden's head. His eyes slowly began to close and he fell into darkness.

Levi's eyes fluttered opened and he groaned out in pain. He tried getting up when Elijah ran over to him. "Levi please don't move" he said and Levi relaxed.
"Kayden" he said while looking around the room.
"He's okay Levi he's in another room" Elijah assured him and Levi sighed.
"I want to be with him" he said while trying to get up but Elijah placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Levi you need rest, Kayden is doing fine, he's sleeping and I gave him something to eat okay" Elijah told him but Levi refused to rest.
"Skylar wasn't there he took her then left my baby boy by himself Elijah he must have been scared" Levi started to crying. "He set the house on fire with my kid inside"
"Actually he left a pizza in the oven and it caught on fire" Elijah said and Levi sighed.
"Elijah I have to go now Skylar's in trouble" Levi said while trying to get up again. He had a lot of cuts, bruises and burns on his skin. He was in so much pain but he had to save Skylar.
"I know you want to get her sway from Ethan but your in too much pain the cops and I are taking care of it, I will find her just please get some rest.
"My unborn baby, she's pregnant I have to find her" Levi cried. The door opened and closed and Levi looked up. Ivy walked over to him with a sad expression on her face.
"Mom she's pregnant how will she manage" he said and she wrapped her arms around his body then kissed the top of his head. Levi laid his head on her stomach.
"I know son don't worry you'll find her and they'll both be okay" she comforted him and he nodded then pulled back.
"Mom I want to see Kayden, I want to hold him close to me, let him know that daddy is here please" he begged and Ivy sighed.
"I'll see what I can do okay" she said then left the room. Levi laid back then looked up at the ceiling. He didn't even realised that Elijah left the room.
Few seconds later Ivy walked into the room with Kayden in her arms. A small smile came to Levi's lips when he saw that Kayden was okay and sleeping. Ivy walked over to him and Levi had his arms outstretched. Ivy slowly laid Kayden in Levi's arms then left to get some more water. Levi hugged Kayden close to his chest then kiss the top of his head.
"Daddy almost lost you in a fire" Levi sniffed while staring down at Kayden. "I will find mommy for you okay and she'll be okay" Levi whispered. Kayden started moving around, his lips now pushed out. He started whining and Levi eased up a little. "No please don't cry" Levi whispered and Kayden started crying in his sleep. Levi wondered what he was dreaming about.
"Please stop crying Kayden, open your eyes" Levi said while rocking him. Kayden's eyes fluttered opened and he looked up Levi with his pouting face. He turned his head and Levi sighed.
"It's okay Kayden daddy's here, whatever you were dreaming about it's all over" he told him and he looked back up at Levi. "Dada" his said while pointing at Levi shoulder that had s gauze on it.
"It's okay daddy's okay" Levi smiled and kayden started scratching the back of his head. He laid his head on Levi's chest then shove his thumb in his mouth. Levi slowly began to rub circles on his back. Just like that Kayden fell asleep knowing that his father was there.
