"Hi," I wrote on a piece of paper as I waited for Ivy to arrive. It had been one week and four days, not that I was counting, since the arrangement was made for her to move in with me, but today was finally here.

Ivy's PoV

Within a second the door was answered and I stood in front of a nervous looking boy holding a scrappy piece of paper with the word 'hi' written on it. I laughed to myself because he didn't realise the page was also upside down. He looked down and flushed bright red with embarrassment. He scrunched up the paper and threw it to one side and moved to the side allowing me to enter. I looked at him for a second and shook my head, then went inside. The house was quite deceiving. On the outside it looked like every other house, but the inside was very homey. I stood admiring the living room, which lead to the industrial design kitchen, when Daniel stumbled in and tripped over a few things before reaching his note book. He scribbled for a while then held up the note.

"Let me show you around. This is the living room, the kitchen is through there, and upstairs is where our bedrooms are. Come on."

I followed him up the wooden stairs on one side of the house. We walked down the corridor and he stopped in front of the first doorway. He grabbed his notebook again and started writing some more. I found it funny how focused he looked when he was writing, but I kept that to myself.

"This is my room, I'm always in here if I'm not in the kitchen so don't be afraid to knock if you need anything :)"
I nodded in thanks, then we kept moving.

After another five or so minutes I had had a full tour of the house. The last stop was, of course, the rooftop garden.
"So that's my place, I hope you are comfortable hear," he wrote and smiled awkwardly as he held it up.
I grinned and nodded. He smiled and then headed towards the door leading back inside and gestured for me to follow.
