You: Hey, where are you?

Sua💖: Oh, I'm just on my way. Wait at the shop, I'll be there in a few minutes :)

You: Okay, see you in 5!

You stop fiddling with your lanyard at the check out desk as you hear a small bell ring, signalling that someone has entered the comic book shop. You are sure it's Sua. She stops at the doorway of the shop and waves coyly, with an embarrassed smile on her face. For a few seconds you forget to breathe- you are taken aback by Sua's beauty. Her long, brown hair cascades over her shoulders and her hazel eyes sparkle with the glitter of winter. She wears a cream coloured long coat and dark grey jeans, that complement her ivory skin. Her beauty make you, in a black dress and fishnet tights, seem plain. You stammer, "H-hey." She replies, "Hi. Um, what's up?" You hesitate. "Nothing. Hey, do yo want to get a personal tour around Wave?" Sua nods profusely. "Yes! I would love to! I've already looked around many times, but it would totally be a different experience looking around with a manga expert." She winks at you. In turn, you grab her hand and drag her into the manga section of the quaint bookstore.

You start explaining what the books are about as Sua picks many books to read. Both of you collapse on the beanbags laid out on the floor for reading comics and giggled.

Sua says, "Wow, I didn't know there were so many good books here! I've only ever looked in here for 5 minutes at a time."

You nod and say, "Yeah, well, after you work here for a year, you kinda notice all the good books here. I hope the ones I've recommended are nice?" Sua laughs and replies, "Yeah, they're really nice, although I haven't read them fully yet." Her laugh is so pretty, you think. She pulls her legs up to her chest and picks up a book. You glance at the cover. Nanatsu no akumu. The Seven nightmares. It was one of your favourite comic books when you first got into them. She doesn't look like the type to like horror so you question Sua, "You like that book?" Sua nodded. "When I first read the book (was it in 2017?) I saw myself in the pages, as Sua." . You started laughing and Sua looked up at you in confusion. Sua liked the book that much? The golden coloured buttons on her coat glimmer in the artificial light and she duly reads the manga lying on the beanbag.

You take a second copy of The seven nightmares and start reading it with her. You look at the cover and it says, "Volume One- Chase me. " You remember reading the first chapter at night and getting nightmares. You remember it well. You were in a small enclosed space and almost suffocated in it. You shudder thinking about it and look back to Sua. She had a strange expression on her face and was chewing her nails. You laugh. "That scary, huh?" Sua looks at you and replies, flustered, "No! It's just weird to read it after so long!" She definitely looks creeped out, you think with a smile.
