"You can call me Sua. It's okay, only call me as Bora if you want to." You look at the floor and say quietly, "Okay. Well, I'll see you around." Sua shrugs and walks away. You stumble dejectedly to Wave, where you pick out a book and sit on the beanbag, reading.

After reading for a few hours, you click open your mobile phone and call Minji. She picks up almost immediately.

Minji: «Hey! Siyeon, what's up?»

«Nothing. Today was a really tough day.»

«Ah, what happened?»

«I saw Gahyeon, Bora and Handong.»

«Wait, WHAT?»

«Mhm. But there's something different. Bora beat up Handong and Gahyeon.»

«Bora?! Like the one who used to bully you the most?»

«Yeah. But she's changed. She actually stood up  to Gahyeon and Handong, defending me.»

«Woah, that's crazy. Say, where are you now?»

«Wave.»

«Ah, I'm coming. See you, Singnie.»

«Bye, bunny.»

The bell tinkles and Minji walks in. She spots you in a second and her face lights up. "Hey! Siyeonie!" She smiles. You greet Minji and pull her to the storage room behind the pay counter, in case anyone heard. "What did Gahyeon and her friends say?" Minji propped up her head on a cardboard box, her hand resting in a fist under her chin. You shrug. "Don't know. The usual, what she used to say when we were still in the same school, I guess." Gahyeon was four years your junior, and handong one year, so they weren't in your year group. Bora was in your class, though, and that made school a living hell every day, you remember. Minji pouted. "Give me more details, Singnie~~ Anyway, you said something about Bora...being good? What's all that about?" You reach into the pocket of your trousers and pull out your mobile. You unlock it and open your pinned chat on your messages app. "Sua" reads Minji. "Who's that?" You shake your head and reply, "Sua is Bora's nickname. She introduced herself as Sua about a few weeks ago, and we talked as if we had never met. I saw her in person once, but I wasn't able to recognise her. But now I know she's Bora. She told me she wanted to mend our broken relationship." I explained.

Minji suddenly puts her arm around your waist and you yelp. "Come on, let's go to my place. It can take your mind off this." You just nod, too surprised to argue. Minji drags you out of Wave and you walk a few minutes to get to Minji's flat. She unlocks the door and you walk in. You have been to her flat so many times, it's like a second home to you. You collapse on to the huge sofa and start flicking through the channels on the television. Minji says from the other side of the room, where she is taking some ramyeon out of the cupboard, "Hey, pick whatever you want to watch. I don't really mind. You'll have spicy ramyeon?" She asks. You murmur a "Mhm" in response and continue looking through the channels. You find something good and keep it playing on the television while you help Minji with the ramyeon.

"Minji. There's something else." you muster the courage to tell her. Minji looks at you and smiles widely. "What is it? You can tell me anything." You fiddle with your sleeves and mutter, "I think I like Sua. Bora." Minji's smile falters slightly but she keeps it pasted on her face. "That's great! But, y-you should be a but careful with her. I mean you never know, this could all be part of a plan?" You laugh a little. "Minji, I am pretty sure she's genuinely friendly now." Minji shrugs. "Mkay, who am I to stop you?" She walks to the bubbling noodles and stirs the pot. You sit on the sofa and the wintery evening moonlight starts filtering through the huge windows in Minji's living room. The movie is playing at a low volume, so you don't really pay attention to it.

Minji walks in a few minutes later, holding two bowls of soupy ramyeon, the broth swaying back and forth. She sits on the other side of the sofa and starts slurping the ramyeon. You eat it more quietly, and drops of bitty broth spill on your shirt. You brush it off with your finger and grab the remote, turning the volume higher just as a funny scene comes on. Minji snorts and broth leaks from the side of her bowl onto her blue jeans. She looks shocked for a second and suddenly bursts into laughter. Her laugh is so infectious, how have no option but to laugh too. You laugh and laugh until your stomach starts to ache. Your phone buzzes loudly and makes you jump. You traipse to the counter where your phone is and open it.  One missed call from Sua. Jiu walks behind you holding her stomach in pain and tissue laid neatly on her ruined jeans. "Who is it?" she asks. "Sua." You reply. You call Sua and she picks up after a few seconds. You can hear her breathing into the microphone, hesitating, but she finally says, "Siyeon?" You look at Minji, who fixes you with a nod and a determined expression, and you reply slightly wavering, "Hey Bora."
