Ambers POV
After 3 hours of cleaning myself off I finally headed over to Cecilia's house. "Hey" I said with a smile when she answered the door. "Sup" she replied. "Not much, just about to go on the most exciting trip of MY WHOLE LIFE!" I squealed.
Quickly I hopped into the back of Cecilia's parents mini van and we started our long car ride to NYC.
Cecilias POV
"I'm so BORED!" Amber moaned as we played cards in the backseat of my parents mini van. "Me too" I agreed slumping in my seat. We still had another whole day before we got to NYC. "What the hell is that?!" Amber screamed suddenly. I immediately sat up and looked to where she was pointing. "What the he-" I started but was interrupted by a loud snort. Upon a hill a few yards away sat a huge pig. "Is that.....A PIG?" Amber exclaimed. "Uh I think so" I replied nervously.
All was quiet for a moment until Amber screamed again as the pig started to make its way towards us. "Uh, MOM!" I shouted. "What is it honey?" my mother asked from the front seat. "There's a giant pig running towards our car" I said nervously. "Oh Apollo" she mumbled as the car sped up. Confused I turned back to Amber. "Did she just-" I began but was once again interrupted by Amber's scream. "It...it.....its......RIGHT BEHIND US!" Amber shrieked.
Then the weirdest thing happened. A bronze arrow flew down from who knows where and made the beast explode into a pile of Golden dust. "What just happened?" I asked turning to Amber. I looked over just in time to she her eyes snap shut and her body slump in her seat.
