Amber's POV
Cecilia and I sat at the Camp fire, actually enjoying ourselves for the first time in the day. It surprised me that Apollo Cabin was singing actual songs and not those crappy Camp fire songs. Then, it happened.
Cecilia's POV
Right when things were actually going well,(and for that matter, making sense) suddenly NOTHING made sense. it's hard to explain, but when the rest of the camp suddenly went silent, it was hard not to notice. A giant, red, fiery owl just appears out of no where, and was floating above AMBER'S HEAD!!!
"WHAT THE...?" I yelled. Chiron came forward.
"All hail Amber Cole, daughter of Athena."
Amber's POV
Suddenly it seemed like the entire camp was staring at me. Probably because they were. Then I realized that they weren't staring at me, but above me. I looked up to see a giant red owl above my head. I gave Cecilia a puzzling look, when I realized everyone was kneeling. For about a minute I stood there confused until people started to get up. Finally Chiron came over to explain.
"Amber you've been claimed by Athena the goddess of Wisdom."
