Chapter 3: Tornado's Mercy

I opened my eyes and yawned. Oh right, my whole day was ruined yesterday by the heroes, their business, and that Sonic person. I looked at how much money I have left and got ready. I've prepared some small essentials in my pockets since I always traveled from different places. I got out of my apartment then turned as Saitama and I make contacts. He points at me.

"Ah, it's you again," Saitama says smiling a bit.

"Sensei, I've got our list," Genos says looking and see me. Ah, it's that cyborg person. 

"Hey Saitama, I was going to buy some things for my new apartment," I stated.

"Just come with us then," he said. I shrugged and decided to follow them. I felt Genos eyeing me a bit. He was probably trying to get as much data on me as possible. 

"Impossible," he mumbled.

"Hm? What's wrong, Genos?" Saitama asks.

"Master, I can't detect any information about her," Genos says.

"Ohhh, oh well," Saitama says still walking.

"Why do you need information on me?" I asked.

"To make sure that I can beat you and find ways to become stronger," he answered. How bold.

"Nice answer," I replied back.

"What you said at the hero meeting, it seemed disrespectful," Genos said.

"Was I wrong?" I asked. He thinks about it.

"Not really, no," he replied. 

"They needed to hear it, either they can be little babies about the small fact or train harder to become stronger," I said as we walked into the grocery store. I started picking out some items and placed them into my cart. We all gathered to the register and paid for everything then I waved them goodbye as I walked to a store and look at all the clothes. I needed to hurry with all the groceries with me. I grabbed lots of clothes and buy everything as they give me a huge bag. I started walking back to my place and put everything away. I went over to Saitama's door and knocked. He opens it.

"The Hero Association wants us to bring you back to the meeting or something," Saitama says. I sigh and cross my arms.

"Might as well go," I responded as we walked along with Genos.

When we got to the meeting, they all started blabbering about monsters and blahhh blahhh blahhhh. It was just useless information that I didn't bother to listen too. When they finally finished, they asked if anyone had questions.

"I'm not registered as a hero, right?" I asked. They nodded. "Okay,"

"That sucks, it'd be nice to see you be one of the lowest-ranked S-ranked heroes!" Tornado says. This cocky person.

"Bitch," I said.

"What did you say!?"

"Hmm?" I played off innocently. 

"I want to show everyone that you're just clearly a fake! I want to fight you! Why not put it on live tv!?" Tornado says laughing as she starts to float. 

"You really think that being a 2nd ranked S hero makes you some hot shit?" I said. Her eye twitched a bit. I guess she's getting a bit pissy. "If you're that confident then sure,"

(Start music) 

She smirks and told me to follow her as well as everyone else. They were pretty curious so they did follow us. She was on the phone talking to some news reporters as they showed up with cameras. I sighed as we walked into an area full of nothing but dirt and rocks. We walked a bit further from everyone else since we were going against one another. She didn't bother to warn me and just started to rise up to the air. The outline of her body turned a small shade of green as she's already headed with her psychic powers on me, but it didn't work as well as she thought. I just stood there looking at her. I watched as stressed started crawling onto her face as she kept trying to do something. She gave up and started gathering up wind along with pieces of rocks. I watched her.

"Aren't you so scared of this power?!" she says laughing. She must've really trying to show off to the cameras or something. She finally targets that power towards me as I held my hand out blocking it and make it deflect back to her. Her expression was very stunned as she closed her eyes and fell back.

"Ah, I'm so scared," I said in the most monotone voice ever. 

"You dare to mock me!? The second best hero?!" she started swirling up another wave as I stared at her.

"Hey! When is the fight over!?" I shouted over the large wave of wind.

"When they're completely dead!" she shouts back laughing hysterically. 

"If you really are going to make such a big deal out of this then..."

I ran and appeared right in front of her face. I should've been nice, but she kept trash talking and I got a bit tired. So I punched her face as she flew far back falling onto the ground. I ran and got on top of her.

"What's wrong?" I asked throwing her up into the air. I looked up then jumped up kicking her back with the bottom of my foot watching her faceplant onto the ground. I came back and grabbed her hair as she screamed in pain already. "Done already?" I decided to spin her around with her hair and threw her again. She landed in front of the heroes and coughed out blood. I walked to her as she twitched a bit. She tried to get out.

"YOU!" she shouted trying to point at me. 

"Yes?" I answered. She activated her power again as a huge wind came behind me. I turned around and punched it away. She coughs out more blood and I turned my attention on her again. "Keep going "Number 2 best hero". Show me what you've got? It'd be a shame if we ended it quickly. Although there's not much to fight with left,"

"Amazing," Bang says watching us.

"No way!" Metal Bat shouts.

"Her speed and strength are incredible, although I still can't track her numbers," Genos states.

"I wonder what's going to be on sale this Saturday..." Saitama muttered. 

I looked up at some heroes a bit fearful while the people who run this association has probably already wet their pants. I looked down at Tornado.

"What a pity," I said smiling. "After all that trash talk and confidence you had,"

She clenched her teeth and tried to use her power, but she couldn't. She was too weak and fragile to use anymore. I grabbed her hand and slammed her onto the ground. She started crying and bleeding out of her head.

"Someone stop this!" Metal Bat says.

"We can't," I simply said. "This annoying bitch right here said that the fight is over when they're dead" I continued grabbing her arm and throwing her back onto the ground. I heard her cry in agony, but her spirits were still too high. I looked at her in pain laying on the ground.

"That's not very heroic!" an employer says. 

"I'm only abiding by the rules that she made herself, it'd be rude not to follow," I said. I looked at her crying and making a fist angry at herself for being weak. I sighed and sat down looking at her.

"Guess I won, I mean, just look at you," I said. "You're basically about to die, what else do you have to say?"

She slowly looked up at me staring down at her. She opened her mouth to say something, but her vocal cords must've been hit because she couldn't say a thing. I placed my hand on her head and closed my eyes for a couple of seconds then stood up. Everyone was a little confused and thought that she was dead.

"Relax you, idiots, look again," I said crossing my arms. Tornado slowly got up fully recovered as the blood and tears from her were completely removed. Her clothes were also fully recovered as if I never touched her. Everyone's face is completely stunned, some even dropped their jaws down wondering how I did that. Tornado looked at her palms and starting making a fist then opening her fist to see her palms again. She felt confused on the pain that had disappeared.

"Whether you're an S-ranked hero or not, it doesn't mean anything when it comes to the main fight. You all also need to realize that many are probably more suitable in your positions, they probably just hadn't shown up yet or bothered to try. So work harder to keep that position. Just because you're at your rank now, doesn't mean that you'll be at that rank forever," I said. I walked past them back to the city to find something more interesting to do.
