The hour of lunch had soon come to a close and a menacing group of six could be seen, walking into the court once again as they spoke, no emotion in their mannerisms for a second. Stiff necks and tight upper lips seemed to be the only emotion that any of them were even capable of.
"Agent David Rossi. If we could talk to you next." The door was closed before he could respond and the team gave a smile before Garcia hugged him and let him walk in. Eyes following his every move.
"I know that I am not being asked any questions by those six but I still feel sick." As Garcia spoke, Luke Alvez hugged her and looked at the closed door that Rossi was behind.
"Mr David Rossi. You have told us enough times about how you drove to the banks. I want to know about what happened during the drive and then afterwards." He nodded before his hand began to play with his beard.
The wind flew through hair as the windows were thrown open and smiles were worn, as well as some sunglasses.
"There is something nice about the wind isn't there?" Elora spoke before looking out once again. The wreckage of banks could be seen at times and reality would chime back in."Such a shame about the danger and the sights. Chicago is a nice place this time of year. The tourists would be flocking in normally." As Rossi spoke the car stopped at a set of lights.
"What I want to know is why you suddenly hate me." As Alvez spoke, Elora rolled her eyes and only he could see it in the reflection.
"I don't hate you. I like you as a person. Normally, however, since you disobeyed Prentiss and lost your right to be a field agent, you keep bitching and ain't nobody got time for that. Besides, it is a result of your bad behaviour so why must I suffer? Next time, don't go all Jack Cage. Or what is his name? The one who lost his girlfriend and then his dog and went crazy? You know, the psycho hitman. Ugh, forget it. You know what I mean." His smile was tough to miss and Elora turned around before punching his arm.
"I said I like you normally but when you smile you look too smug and I suddenly don't like you. John Wick. That is the crazy guy." Alvez shook his head and watched Elora through the mirror before they had arrived at their destination."We will go to the bank in question. Not you." Elora shook her head and smiled at Rossi.
"Absolutely not. Your wife would never forgive me if something ever happened to you and besides, I am hardly going to be missed. Now, take the gawker who keeps looking at me and talk to the other bank owner."
Rossi couldn't speak further when the man in charge spoke.
"Was Agent Elora normally like this or was there a reason for her to behave like this?" Rossi nodded before narrowing his eyes."Yes, Jacob. She was normally like this. When there wasn't a power-hungry man managing her with nothing but his own selfish agenda to push." A woman on the right spoke up before anything else could be said.
"What does that mean?" Her tone was cold and sharp like a sword but Rossi wore a vest against her icy words.
"Jacob here was the agent who cared for Elora when she was undercover. Unfortunately, his treatment wasn't acceptable and her life was put at risk because of it. Multiple times. I saw what he did and if I had been in her situation then I would have taken him down. Elora could never do it and until that go-ahead is given, he will continue to do it." The others on the board seemed to shift away from the man in the centre before he spoke to Rossi again.
"This is an enquiry into you and your team. Not me." Rossi nodded and leant back in his chair.
"But it should be about you." As he spoke, Jacob shrunk slightly before sitting back up properly.
