Evie's POV
Yawning, I sat up in bed, slapping my alarm clock. I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms. The bed looked so appealing, but I knew that I had to get up. What did I have to get up for again? Not really caring, I got up to shower.
After my shower, I opened my closet, and saw my blue NASA uniform. Oh yeah, that's where I needed to go! Today was the day my ship was launched into space. This gave me an extra pep in my step as I got ready for the day.

As I arrived at the NASA base, Joe rushed out to meet me, saying excitedly, "They are starting to prep the space ship, I advice you to go inside and say hello to your team."
"Yes, good idea. Who is it again? Was it Macy, Carol, Marley, and David?" I asked, not wanting to mix up the names like at our interview a few days ago.
Joe gave me a slight nod before walking me inside where I saw, sitting there, those exact four people. They looked nervous, fiddling their fingers and bouncing their legs. I smiled at them and waved, waiting until after a quick "hello commander" before addressing the mission.
"As expected, it looks like we're all a bit nervous, but that's okay! I want to remind you of all the rules..."

Right as I finished, Joe came running up saying, "Alright, crew, lets get you loaded up!"
I nodded and gulped letting the others go first. I guess I was nervous, as well. I sighed and started walking, and said, "Let's do this!"
Alright guys, that's it for this chapter! This one was short too, I know, but the launch and the ride will be longer! (aka, next chapter) Cya, potatoes!
