Chapter 13: Revelations

Sorry for no outro last chapter, I just forgot to write it. Also sorry for no chapter last week, I was preparing for a busy week. I will be doing another chapter sometime this week. Metal is my own OC, I do not own Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, or Steven Universe.

3rd POV

Metal woke up with Spinel still wrapped in his arms. He smiles at her and locks his lips with hers, waking her up. Spinel's eyes flutter open and looks at Metal with tired eyes. "Time to get up sleepyhead, we got a whole day of training," Metal softly says to her while getting up. Spinel sits up and yawns while stretching her body. She looks up at Metal once again and raises her arms towards him, "Cawwy me," she asks in a tired voice. Metal playfully rolls his eyes and scoops her up in his arms, "Of course your highness, anything for you," he jokes. Spinel giggles as she hugs Metal, while he fills the bathtub with water.

He sets Spinel on her feet and looks away while she strips down, and proceeds to climb into the tub. "So," Metal starts as he begins to clean his girlfriend, "is there anything specific you want to work on today? I mean, your fighting skill has improved immensely over the past few days, and your energy manipulation is almost perfect. You will definitely be ready for the invasion." Spinel stares at the water and after a few moments, she says, "Could you teach me one of your techniques?" Metal pauses for a moment, before putting shampoo in his lover's hair, "Sure, I don't see why not. We'll start with an easy one for today, and then work our way up. How does that sound?" he asked politely.

Metal pours a bucket of water on Spinel's head and lifted her up while grabbing a towel. He wrapped it around her and set her on the bed, "I'm gonna go shower. I just put your clothes in the dryer so you're gonna need to wait here for a little bit. I'll be out soon so sit tight, alright." he told her before placing a kiss on her forehead. When Metal left, Spinel began to think about what's happened to her for the past few weeks.

"To think all of this started at Universe's party. I didn't know what to think of him at first, I thought he was just there to destroy or take over the planet like every other villain. When I fought him, he was way out of my league, and I thought I was done for. When I talked to him and  told me about his past I felt sympathy towards him. We were both the same, abandoned by the people who cared about us. later that night, when I had that horrible nightmare about her again, he welcomed me with open arms. Heck he defended me when I was in trouble and comforted me whenever I was scared. I guess for once Steven was right, I could love again." Spinel concluded.

She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the bathroom door open, with Metal standing there in a black gi and a maroon undershirt. He walked towards Spinel with a warm smile on his face, with Spinel returning it with an equally as worm smile. "Close your eyes, I've got a present for you," he told her. Spinel's eyes widen in both shock and giddiness, and she quickly complied. "Alright, open." She opened her eyes and in Metal's hands was a scouter similar to his, except the leans was a pink color.

She quickly swiped it from his hands and tried it on, while unknowingly letting go of her towel. "It's perfect! Thanks Metsy!" she exclaimed while hugging him tightly. "Uh, Spins, your towel," he said while slightly blushing. She looked down and realized that she was exposed and quickly stretched her arm and wrapped the towel around herself. "Sowwy," she said quietly while blushing heavily. Metal wraps his arms around her once more and plants a kiss on her cheek, "There's nothing to be sorry about, after all, it was only me who saw you." he sates with a sly grin.

Metal goes over to the dryer and takes Spinel's clothes out. He hands them to her and turns around once again while she redresses herself. When she's done, Metal picks her up once again and they went to the cafeteria for breakfast. When they arrived, they saw many things happening. Buu and Janemba were having an eating contest while Slug and Bojack were cheering them on. Cell and 17 were talking while 13 was talking to Baby. Cooler and Frieza were arguing with Omega about who's more powerful, with Zarbon, Dodoria, and the Ginyu Force backing them up.

Ignoring the chaos, Spinel and Metal meet up with Fu to get something to eat. "Hey Fu," the couple said in unison as they entered the kitchen. "Hey you two, let me guess, you want a meal to go," he questioned. They both nodded and Fu quickly made them some French toast and bacon. They happily took the meal and quickly went back to their room. Metal and Spinel quickly engulfed their food. When they finished, they set their plates aside and decided to talk for a bit, "Thank you," Spinel said out of no where. Metal cocked his head to the side in confusion, "Thank you for what?" he asked.

"For giving me a chance when no one else would, and for liking me for who I am, flaws and all," She responded with tears starting to form in her eyes. Metal quickly wiped them away and embraced Spinel, "You have no need to thank me, my dear. I should be the one thanking you instead. Without you, none of this would be happening," he told her while looking into her eyes. They both kissed each other for a long time before stopping. Metal carried Spinel out the door once again to begin her training.
