Chapter 5- Lib Revealed

Lib POV

10 minutes ago...

Lib was sitting quietly in his own newly-made Cryo-Lab, 50 feet above the place where the Moonlark has currently entered the castle. HIs amazing telepathic abilities allowed him to keep tabs on multiple targets, even those with impenetrable minds.

He was actually quite surprised that the Moonlark did not use one of her skills to find the way out of his maze, for example, maybe listen for Lady Gisela or someone's thoughts so she can instantly know the way. Then again, maybe her range wasn't wide enough or Ruy has them under a forcefield.

It was to his annoyance that the Technopath came because he probably will detect Lib's gadgets, even if he couldn't control them. Nevertheless, unless the Technopath was skilled enough to trace the gadget's wires to pinpoint his exact location, his existence is now in 'ghost mode'.

He probably should've taken that headset off, though.

Because the Technopath located him and his moment of insecurity when he flinched and took off the headsets allowed his mind to be felt, but still impenetrable by the Moonlark and her Cognate.

Right then, the next second, a beam of rage was directed at him, shooting through the walls. Lib didn't exactly have time to think before he snapped his fingers, conjuring a sensor fooling gadget in his hand. He felt the inflicting rebound but his forcefield shattered at the force of it probably because of its magnitude of power and the temporariness of his forcefield making.

He was sent crashing into his icy wall, before completely shattering through it and then falling onto the thin layer of the dome roof that the Moonlark was negotiating in with his grandmother currently.

Obviously, his roof didn't hold, and he was falling down to the hard and icy floor.

And boy oh boy did it hurt. 

Thankfully, he always had a Renati(Regeneration Potion) in his pockets, so he quickly drank that, but not before an ice block fell from the sky and snapped his hood clean off.

And then... he was facing the Moonlark, who had a weird mix of emotions of anger, shock, happiness, sorrow, and confusion.

"You!" the Moonlark pointed at him. "The turquoise with orange specks left eye and the neon electric right eye! The electric blue hair!"

"Yes." Lady Gisela spoke from behind Lib. "Well... I suppose it's about time. Meet Libdimlocus Peculiari, our Universal Initiative, and your destined archnemesis."

"Archnemesis?" Lib and the Moonlark said at the same time, confused and perplexed.

"That's right." Lady Gisela smiled a little at them, probably because of their naive confusion. "You were both created to serve a purpose, even though the Moonlark's purpose was not to be your archnemesis, you are." 

"Why do I have to fight her?" Lib asked, still confused.

"Because she's the reason that elves are headed towards extinction and will destroy all lives in the end!" Lady Gisela shouted. "Lib! Absolute Lock-On!"

Lib had some kind of seizure as the words entered his brain. There's a bunch of negative thoughts towards the Moonlark until he suddenly can't take it anymore, and launched off towards her.

Sophie POV

Lady Gisela said something to this weird Initiative boy called Lib, and he had a downright seizure. Sophie's instincts shot out and immediately inflicted positive emotions and calmness into the boy's mind, but it seemed to her that it was too late.

The boy lunged at her and her friends gasped in horror as he coated his hand in lightning and was about to thrust his hand, now shaped like a spear, into her stomach.

Sophie was shocked but only had a second to react. She immediately unleashed the rage she felt about the Neverseen at the boy, even though she felt a little regretful, she used all she had stored up in her to fight the boy.

Then the most surprising thing happened. Within the 5 seconds that she analyzed the situation, the 1st second she noticed him lunge at her, the 2nd second she did all the energy gathering, the 3rd to 4th second she inflicted and thought that boy would be knocked out, but no.

In the 5th second, the lightning in his hand winked out, and he snapped his fingers. A white dome of pulsing light covered him, and her inflicting energy crashed into the wall and shattered it partly.

He's a Psionipath as well?

As one of the elves with multiple talents, she was still not really used to not being the only one. Though this child must be special because as her mentors told her, most elves with the ability Polyglot are more likely to have a second ability. But if that kid is a Polyglot, that means he also has Astrakinesis and Psionipath, which makes him have three abilities, second strongest in the elvin world. 

It's not possible, is it?

"Shocked, Sophie?" Lady Gisela remarked as she pointed a finger to the child. "Lib here might just be more of an anomaly than you. Get rid of her, Lib!" 

The child hesitated for a tiny moment, but then rushed towards her with rage flowing in his eyes. Then the most unexpected thing happened. Four orbs, made of fire, water, electricity, and ice gathered around the child and shot towards Sophie, who froze in shock before Maruca shielded her with a force field.

"Wait, did he just make fire, water, and ice?" Fitz said as he turned to face Marella and Maruca, who suddenly gasped in recognition for his flames, and nodded as they yelled, "That's the guy who sparked Everblaze and Balefire that other day!"

What kind of monster is he? How did the Neverseen do this?

"How could you perform experiments on a child, Mom?" Keefe yelled angrily at his mother, and Lady Gisela suddenly hissed angrily as Lib stopped and turned towards Keefe.

"Wait... mom?" Lib said quietly as he stared at Keefe in confusion.

"Yes, worst mom ever in the history of the world. I can tell you that story later." Keefe snorted at his mother again as the boy seemed to be connecting some pieces together.

"What is the meaning of this, grandmother?" Lib yelled at Lady Gisela, while everyone else's mind froze. Grandmother? Whaaaaaat?

"Well, the cat's out of the bag now." Lady Gisela said as she pointed towards Sophie and Keefe. "Lib, meet your biological parents, Sophie Elizabeth Foster and Keefe Sencen!"
