CH39 - Lost In Love

As she enters the pad, Lea tried calling out El's name. There was dead silence in the whole unit. She tried checking both the guest room and the master bedroom but there were no signs of Ellie. The Broadway star can't help but feel tired and frustrated at the same time.

She went inside El's room to see if there is anything that will give a clue as to where the young woman might be. But everything seems to be normal and in place.

Lea felt so defeated. She could not understand what's going on in Ellie's mind right now as to why she had to disappear like that.

Lea's heart feels so hurt that she could only lie down on Ellie's bed. The whole room still smells of a lavender scent. Just like the last time she was there with their sleepover. She grabbed one of the pillows and hugged it to herself. It reeks the scent of El's hair. How could she not know, she had already hugged the young woman several times. And Ellie's sweet delicate cinnamon smell has already registered on her system.

Lea couldn't help but shed her tears as she immersed herself on the pillows that are full of Ellie's fragrance. Only a day of not seeing her makes her heart break into pieces. Her worry keeps on escalating every minute that passes by without knowing El's whereabouts. As her eyes tire out from crying, Lea had already fallen asleep on Ellie's comfy bed.

Few days later the grand winner of The Voice Acapella has already been announced. It was Kyle from Team Apl. Coach Apl.d.ap was so proud for winning this season run.

He teases Coach Lea as this would not be truly possible if El did not quit the show.

With more than a week that had passed by, there were still no news with Ellie's whereabouts. People have been wondering if El's condition got worsen or if the young woman is just avoiding all forms of media.

By this time, Lea just spent her days locked up in her home in Alabang. Even all the invitations of her close friends such as Bobbi and Yvette are being turned down. Up until now, the Broadway star doesn't have the mood to go out and see others given that there are still no updates on how El's doing right now.

Even her daughter feels the same as Nicole keeps on asking her where her Ate Ellie is. The teenager wanted to see El so bad and keeps on saying that she misses her "older sister".

Seeing both his wife and daughter at low spirits saddens Rob. He had come to appreciate Ellie as he knew how nice she was to his kid and how promising she is, in the eyes of his wife. As a man responsible for his family, he wanted to alleviate the dejection his wife and his daughter feels.

With his connections and wealth, he contacted a private investigation firm to get help in finding El's whereabouts.

"Hon, wake up. I have good news for you." The Chinese-Japanese American excitedly wakes up the Broadway star from her sleep.

He could see how irritated his wife is as she looks on the clock and realizes it's still too early to get up.
