  {MARINETTE'S POV}

 I FELL ASLEEP REALLY LATE LAST NIGHT. Not only was I saving yet another akumatized villain with Chat Noir, but I was watching fashion design videos on YouTube, and I might've just maybe been.. playing Adrien's ad on repeat. Okay fine, I was, and Tikki scolded me already. But it's not like I can help it! He's just so.. perfect. I even dreamed about him. He said he loved me.

   That's when I knew it was just a dream.

    I woke up to Tikki hovering above me. "Marinette! Wake up! You're late!". It took some time to process the words and- wait, I'm late?!

   I sprung up from my bed in a hurry. How could I be late again? This is the third time this week, I'm so dead. This is a disaster!

   "Marinette, calm down. I'm sure Ms. Bustier will be okay with it. She's really understanding." Tikki comforted me.

  "Thanks, Tikki. But I should still hurry". Tikki is always so kind to me. I'm so lucky to have her as my kwami. I put on my grey jacket, my white shirt that has my flower logo on it, my pink jeans, and grabbed my satchel-purse that Tikki hides in, the one that I designed and made,  and walked out the door of the Bakery after saying farewells to my parents.

{ADRIEN'S POV}

    I couldn't sleep last night. I was stuck thinking about Ladybug. I want to know who she is so bad, but I don't have any way of finding out. She doesn't want us to know each other's identities, and she trusts me. Why does all this have to be so complicated?

   Plagg, my kwami, was already awake, rummaging my room for Camembert cheese. He's obsessed with that stinky stuff. I have to carry it around and smell like it all day. But, it makes him happy, and it's a good bribing method.

   "Plagg, do you know who Ladybug is?", I pleaded with him as I prepared myself for the day. A model's morning routine is pretty strict. Father says I have to look perfect, not a single hair out of place.

   "Of course I do, but you already know that I can't tell you," Plagg responded, more focused on his cheese than the actual conversation.

   "Could you pleaseee tell me, Plagg? I'll make sure you get double the amount of cheese as normal. The fancy kinds too!"

  "Adrien.."

  "Plagg, please? Triple?" Plagg then ran away to avoid the tempting bribery. I'm pretty sure Plagg knows something bad would happen if I knew her identity. I knew that he cared about me! He always acts disgusted by affection.

  I put on my white jacket, black shirt with stripes, and jeans. Plagg hid inside of my shirt. I peeked out my window and saw a particular girl with blue hair, pigtails, and pretty bluebell eyes running to school.

  Marinette? Why is she running? Maybe she's in danger! I gotta go, and fast!

{THIRD-PERSON POV}

    Marinette sprinted to school, so focused on her destination that she failed to notice her crush running after her.

  "Marinette!" an all too familiar voice called after her. She turned around to see the boy with blonde hair and perfect green eyes.

    "A- Adrien?", she stuttered. Marinette couldn't help stuttering in Adrien's presence. She always got nervous around her crush. However, Adrien was a patient young man, he would always wait for Marinette's sentences and treat her as if she talked normally. It's one of the many, MANY, things Marinette adored about Adrien.

  "Hey, Marinette. Are you okay?? Why are you running?" Adrien asked, with a clear expression of deep concern.

  "Uh- uhm, yes fine, I'm Adrien. I mean! Yes, Adrien, I'm fine. I was running because I'm late for school! why do you ask, haha?" Marinette chaotically replied. I'm such a mess, she thought.

   To Marinette's surprise, Adrien laughed. "Oh good! I thought you were in trouble, so I rushed over here. I'm glad that you're okay. Do you mind if I run to school with you? I'm pretty sure I'm late as well."

 "Y-you? Running with me? S-sure, I love yo- I MEAN NOT LOVE YOU,  LIKE A FRIEND, BUT I COULD LOVE YOU, SINCE YOUR AMAZING- I MEAN A REALLY GOOD FRIEND", Marinette gushed, struggling to maintain the conversation.

  "uh yeah, Marinette. Let's go!", Adrien said with a soft and kind smile, ignoring Marinette's bright red face.

 They arrived at school, late as usual, but together. Therefore getting comments from their classmates.

"Aww, did they come here together!"

"Maybe they're finally dating!"

"They are sooo cute!!"

     Marinette was now even redder. Redder than Nathaniel's hair. Adrien noticed some of the remarks and blushed slightly. He liked that their classmates thought of them this way.

   Marinette sat down next to Alya, and Adrien watched as Marinette made an adorable pose, with her hand resting on her chin and her head turned, gazing out the window dreamily.

  Marinette is so cute, just look at her! Wait, what am I saying? Marinette's such a good friend to me. Besides, there's Ladybug. Ladybug is amazing, Adrien thought as he sat down next to Nino, who was smirking because he noticed the way Adrien was looking at Marinette. Yet Adrien was too busy zoning out to notice Nino's expression.

  And then class began, leaving our two heroes in a pleasant daze.
