Chilled and His Family - Part 6

Chilled and His Family - *Maddie's POV*

"Maddie wake up!" Mark shook me as I sat up

"What happened?" I groaned looking at him and Chilled

"I think I got it now" I laughed 

"I rang a couple of times with no answer so I got Mark to help me as he had a key" Chilled explained

"It's fine, just give me ten minutes to freshen up" I smiled walking to the bathroom changing my dress and makeup 

"So how has your life been?" Chilled asked making small talk in the car

"Fine"

"Come on Maddie we used to be able to talk for hours" 

"That was before you all got famous" 

"It wasn't our fault" 

I couldn't really blame him.. Sure I helped them with some video's more on Smarty's channel but over time we just all drifted and even though Smarty was the last one to stop talking I still feel like he left first..

"I know.. Just sucked" We didn't talk much after that we listened to music but I mainly stared out the window watching the city go by

"Maddie!" Emily yelled running out hugging me

"Emily!" I laughed hugging back 

"Daddy, who is this?" I watched a skinny boy walk out in a Mario shirt

"This is our old friend called Miss Sanderson"

"Call me Maddie" I smiled as he just hid behind Chilled

"I'm Conor" 

We sat in the living room talking about the last ten years, Emily was able to get more out of me then Chilled did but we had stayed friends, she was the only one related to the Derp Crew I stayed in touch with. 

"So how is Miyo?" I asked

"She is really good, her and Ze got married a couple of years ago" she smiled

"When is uncle John getting here?" Conor asked 

"He said around 8 man" 

"Is this a big family thing? If so I can leave" I stood up going towards the door

"Maddie please he is just a close friend who he cal-"

"Hey sorry I'm late" A male voice rang in the house.. But I knew that voice... 

"Uncle John!" Conor jumped into his arms

"Can we play now?" 

"Soon, let me say hello to you-..... Maddie?" I stood still not knowing what to say.. 

"Joh-S-Smarty.." I pushed out 

"You didn't tell me you were still friends with her?" He looked at Chilled

"Well we only recently got back in touch" Chilled looked down at his hands

"I have to go!" I grabbed my jacket walking towards the door

"Maddie please! Don't walk out again"  He spoke

"Walk out? I was a kid then! I didn't know what I wanted!" I yelled holding the tears back

"Well I wanted you!" I stopped dead in my tracks

"Then why did you stop replying?" I turned to face him

"I got busy with youtube.." 

"Then enjoy youtube John, also Anthony I am sorry to ruin the mood" I closed the door behind me walking down the street.
