Chapter 18.

Unknown POV

"Let go of me! When I get out of these handcuffs you guys are going to get it!" I watched the girl struggle in her seat. I signaled to take the blind fold off of her.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?" Jasmine asked in a nervous voice.

"It doesn't matter who I am all that matters is that we have something in common." I put up two pictures in front of her showing Alex and Alida.

"If you're here to tell me that you going to kill them if I don't give you money it's not going to work. I could care less about them."

"Exactly! Which is why I need your help." I pointed to the picture of Alida. "This girl is supposed to be dead. She took everything from me."

"So what does that have to do with me?" Jasmine asked.

"I have learned she has taken something from you too. Correct?" She nodded. "This Alex girl, she could be a problem in my plan. All I ask of you is to become a distraction to her."

"I would be more than glad to, if it means to get some time to spend with Alex." Jasmine smirked.

"You will have more than enough time to spend with her once Alida is out of the picture. But we can't do that unless we get them separated."

"Leave that to me." Jasmine said. I smiled, there's no way this plan is going to fail.

Alida's POV

I was pacing back and forth in Ash's room. Tonight was me and Alex's first date and I didn't know what to wear. I have everything for the night planned out but of course I forgot to figure out what I was going to wear. I never cared what people thought about my outfits but for some reason with Alex it matters and it's driving me crazy. I let out a big sigh and plopped down on the bed.

"Are you done raiding my closet?" Ash asked.

"Shut up. You haven't even helped me, you just sat there and ate all the food I brought that we were supposed to share." I said annoyed. She shrugged as she stuffed the last handful of fries in her mouth.

"You should've told me that some of the food was for you." She said innocently.

"Come on Ash, I need your help. I've been here since 8 this morning and let me tell you it wasn't easy to leave the house without Alex insisting on coming."

"Where are you and Alex even going?"

"I was just going to take her this restaurant that I heard has the best-"

"You make me want to throw up." Ash said bluntly.

"What? I thought it was cute."

"Yeah for a chic flic." She got up and shuffled around some things on her dresser. She turn around holding up two tickets.

"This is Alex's favorite singer, I have my ways of getting tickets to concerts last minute."

"When did you get these?"

"The night you asked her out. I knew you would pick something bor-" I jumped to give her a hug making us fall on her bed.

"Thank you."

"Whatever, now let me find you something to wear because your choice of clothing sucks." I looked down and my baggy sweatpants and the slippers on my feet.

"They're comfortable though." I pouted. Ash laughed and pulled me into her closet.

Alex's POV

"Don't be too close that it is obvious. I don't want her to feel like you guys are breathing down our necks while we are out." I told Sarah. We are on the phone going over how she and her team will keep an eye on us while on our date. I mean of course I want us to go and have a good time but her safety comes first, especially since I don't know where we are going.

"I understand, we will have eyes on you two at all times." I thanked her and hung up. Minutes later I heard knocking at the door. Guessing who it was I opened the door but immediately rolled my eyes when I saw who it was.

"Hello to you to." Logan said as he allowed himself inside.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"What?! I can't see my child go off with their lucky date tonight? How come Ash is having all the fun." He fake pouted.

"I'm not your kid." I said laughing. I heard another knock on the door, I was confident knowing this had to be Alida this time. I swung the door open and my jaw immediately dropped.

"Awe did you get all dressed up for me?" Jasmine said.

"What are you doing here Jasmine?" I asked getting annoyed. How come Sarah didn't stop her?

"Well I have to keep this short so you're coming with me."

"And why is that?" I asked laughing a little. She looked uncomfortable which is rare for a girl like her. I was about to say something when she pushed me back into the house and closed the door behind her.

"What the hell is your problem?" Logan asked as he walked up to her. Jasmine then pulled out a taser and shocked Logan with it knocking him out. What kind of taser does she have?

"Are you out of your mind?!" My blood started to boil as I walked up closer her.

"You don't want to do that." She said calmly as she held up the taser. I stopped in my tracks, the last thing I want her to do is knock me out.

"Tell me one good reason why I shouldn't call the cops on you?"

"Alida." I didn't think anymore as I tried to charge at her but she tased me and I fell to the ground.

"I really didn't want to do that." She said as she looked over me.

"What did you do?" I said faintly trying to stay awake. That isn't a normal taser.

"Don't worry, we'll be together soon." That was the last thing I heard before everything went dark.

Alida's POV

"I am so late!" I said.

"We wouldn't be if you didn't take so damn long to change." Ash said as she carelessly sped down the street. I stayed quiet as she pulled into the driveway.

"Thanks for the ride, I'll text you later." She nodded.

"Yeah I'm going to check on Logan, he hasn't texted me back in a while." When ash said that I realized Alex also hasn't texted me back even though I was late.

"Maybe they're inside playing games, you wanna come check?" Ash nodded and got out the car, we walked up to the door and I noticed it was cracked open.

"I don't think we should go in." I said. I had a bad feeling about this.

"Why not? I'm going in." Ash said as she pushed the door open more and walked in. Ash and I screamed as we saw Logan on the floor unconscious. Ash ran over to him and tried to wake him up.

"He's not waking up! What happened?! Where's Alex?!" Ash looked up at me with tears down her eyes.

"I'm going to go look for her now." I said as I ran up the stairs. I checked everywhere but she wasn't there. I looked in the basement and the backyard and there was no trace of her. I started to get scared and tried to call her. I heard her phone ring from the front of the yard, I went outside and picked it up. Alex wouldn't leave her phone out in the open like that. I called Sarah but it went straight to voicemail. I heard sirens which meant that Ash probably called the ambulance. I went back inside to check on her and Logan. He was awake but looked weak.

"Logan are you okay? What happened? Where's Alex?" I asked him.

"Alida calm down he's just waking up." Ash told me. Logan mumbled something that I didn't catch.

"What?" Ash asked.

"Jasmine." Was all that Logan said before he fell back asleep in Ash' arms.

AHHHH I CANNOT EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW SORRY I AM FOR LEAVING YOU GUYS HANGING🤧  I don't know what happened during quarantine I just didn't have the motivation to continue writing but I definitely kept reading you guys comments which slowly gave me back that motivation so thanks and I'll be posting more very soon❤️❤️❤️.
