Part 6

As it was Sunday. Rick, Phyllis and sadly John were not working.

Andy had planned to take the boys out for the day. No doubt she would have to go and play the nanny as usual. Andy would even shelve his usual appetite for the paparazzi for fear that anyone would find out that Caroline was his wife.

Unbeknown to Caroline who thankfully wasn't interested by celebrity gossip, Andy had peddled the story that his children's' mother had died when they were small, which was why they were very close to their nanny, who he kept on to give them continuity  and that he was now living with Rebecca.

Caroline and John sat having breakfast together in the kitchen quietly chatting and playing  'footsie' under the table.

They couldn't put off parting for much longer, for the time being their love was best kept secret to all but their close friends.

They shared a luscious velvety kiss intended to sustain them for the day ahead up against the aga.

John kissed Caroline's hand and gave her a delightfully sexy smile. He seemed totally unaware of just how sexy his smile could be, so it always looked natural and spontaneous,  more alluring still.

She kissed the tip of his nose looking at him from beneath her dark lashes in a way that made him long to get her away from Andy and this luxurious prison so he could love her openly.

She followed him to his car and kissed him again so lovingly that he groaned with longing against her mouth. 'I don't want to go. I can't bear the thought of you having to pretend to be the boys nanny'.

Caroline put a finger on his lips. ' You and I have only just begun to be together. We need to take our time, let our relationship develop. For the time being I can bear playing Andy's game because I know that I have your love waiting for me.

For now, that will do.'

John knew she was right. If she was to leave Andy there had to be something strong and solid for her to go to. He couldn't give her ( and there were her children to consider, her main priority) the luxury that Andy could, so he had to consider just what he would be offering them.

He climbed into his car, pleased that Caroline would only let his hand go at the last possible moment. ' I'll see you tomorrow then'.

Caroline stood waving and blowing kisses until John's car had gone from view.

Freddy and Charlie had been staying with Caroline's parents in Halifax and would be picked up by their parents on the way to their day out.

Andy sauntered down for breakfast arm in arm with the beautiful languid Rebecca who slid elegantly into a chair fully expecting Caroline to wait on her and so did Andy.

Caroline comforted herself with the thought that Andy had sat in the same chair not long since vacated by John's heavenly backside that she thought of dreamily as being like a ripe peach.

The family day out to Gulliver's World, a theme park for younger children in Cheshire, would have been perfect, Caroline thought to herself it she had been with John instead of Andy.

The boys had a wonderful time though and Caroline wrapped their happy enthusiasm around herself like a comforter.

John just couldn't relax for thinking about Caroline being stuck with Andy who was no doubt ignoring her except when there was an audience.

He wanted to do something to show her how he felt about her and decided to give her a message in the best way he could.
