Chapter 6: New and Old Comrades

Boruto's pov

I woke early in the hideout and prepared ninja equipments to meet up with my... Old? New? Anyway, I'm going to go meet up with my comrades. Before leaving I looked at the photo that I stole when I learned how everyone felt about me, a photo of Team 7.
'If only I didn't used the scientific ninja tool and actually trained back then.' I sighed disappointed at my past self.
I then equipped myself with a sword like Uncle Sasuke's and left.

Sarada's pov

I woke up early today in the Uchiha compound. Me and Mitsuki are called to training ground 7 by Konohamaru Sensei. I ate my breakfast and take all of my ninja equipment ready to leave.
"Mom, I'm leaving" I yelled to notify mom.
"Hai~ remember to spend time with your boyfriend!" Mom teased me.
"Mom~!" I blushed a little remember telling her about the blonde handso- *cough* boy yesterday.
"Anyway, I'm leaving!" I huffed as I rushed to the rendezvous point.

Several moments later...

I arrived at the training ground and see Mitsuki with the blonde boy from yesterday.
"Eh¿! What is he doing here?¡" I yelled surprised and confused.
Konohamaru Sensei jumped out of the tree and told us to gather.
"Starting from today, this man right here will be your teammate. Please introduce yourselves!" Konohamaru Sensei said.
'Eh!!! No way! This handsome boy that is inches away from me will be our teammate!!??'
"I-I'm Sarada Uchiha!" I said my cheek blushing slightly.
"I'm Mitsuki. Just Mitsuki." Mitsuki said calmly.
"And I'm Boruto Namikaze(Yes, he took his late grandfather's last name), nice to meet you two!" The blonde said enthusiastically.
"Lastly, I am your Sensei, Konohamaru Sarutobi!" Konohamaru said excitingly.
"Now then, because of the new member we will test your teamwork together. So all of you need to go through the 6th's exam back in your academy days again." Konohamaru said showing one bell in front of the team.
"Although this time you will need to actually take the bell from me." Konohamaru added.
"Ehh?!" I yelled.
"What?" The clueless boy asked.
"Don't worry, with the skills you have now you should be able to take the bell!" Konohamaru said feeling confident about his students strength.

3rd person's pov

Konohamaru pushes the timer and disappear in a puff of smoke.
"Alright then, what can you do, Boruto?" Sarada asked.
"Like sense that Sensei is now beneath us!" Boruto said with a sick smile.
Upon hearing this, Sarada quickly accumulate chakra on her fist and punch the ground revealing her shocked Sensei. Fortunately, Boruto and Mitsuki jumped away in the nick of time.
"That was close..." Boruto whined scared by the kunoichi's strength.
"That was amazing. You manage to detect Sensei almost immediately." Mitsuki said with a smile.
"Heh.There are many more thing I can do, ya know!" The blonde said with a smirk as he quickly charged a Rasengan.
"T-that's..." Konohamaru stuttered.
"Rasengan!" Boruto yelled.
He then threw the Rasengan towards Konohamaru but it then vanishes.
"Ehh?! It's not going to hit!" Sarada yelled.
But then, their Sensei got pushed backwards. His vest was visibly torn with spirally features.
"How that you can't see it right!" Boruto yelled celebrating the fact that he got a hit on Konohamaru.
Then Konohamaru vanished. It was a shadow clone.
"You've got amazing Justu's for a newcomer." Konohamaru said appearing on a tree branch.
"Well that may be true but you're careless." A voice underneath Konohamaru said.
It was Boruto! The 'Boruto' beside Mitsuki then vanishes.
'That was a shadow clone?!' Konohamaru thought.
"You aren't well aware of your surroundings." Boruto said while his hands showed a bell.
"Eh!?" Konohamaru was surprised by the teenage boy. He checked his right thigh to see the bell gone.
'Just when did he?!" Sarada surprised to see Boruto with the bell on his hand.
"Quite impressive." was all Mitsuki said.
"Man, I thought this was gonna last longer." Konohamaru sighed with slight disappointment in his voice.
"Can someone please explain what just happened?" Sarada asked still shocked about how skilled Boruto is.
"The short version is we pass this test." Boruto said walking towards the group.
"Tell me the longer version!" Sarada asked as she raised her voice.
As the three were goofing around asking tons of questions to Boruto. There was someone watching them in distance.
*insert dramatic sound effect*
dun!
Dun!
DUNN!
It was the Hokage and his advisor.
"That kid's skill is way past average." Shikamaru said.
"Well he is pretty tricky!" Naruto smiled letting out a small laugh.
"He directed his teammates towards the shadow clone to catch Konohamaru's attention. Right after Sarada punched the ground, he summoned a shadow clone while he hide his chakra and sneaked up on the real Konohamaru. What a drag!" Shikamaru explained what had happened during the fight.
"Surely he is pretty skilled, ya know!" Naruto said.
"And a troublesome guy. He could used a Rasengan too. To top it off it even vanishes from people's line of sight!" Shikamaru said seriously.
"Supposedly, only you and Konohamaru can use that Jutsu. Now we got a third person." He added.
"Shikamaru, I want you to check his full background for me." Naruto said his face snapped to a serious one.

They then vanished.
