Chapter 4: Familiar Faces(Part 3)

Boruto's pov

'Damn that freaking pig(in Japanese is "ino"). HOW DARE HE DATE MY CUTE LITTLE HIMAWARI!?'
'Oh well, anything that makes her happy.' I thought as I tried to calm myself down from the impact of knowing Inojin is my little sis's boyfriend.
'Ugh, not being in the village for so looong is giving me a ton of knowledge gaps.'
I stopped when we reach the Uzumaki household.
"Well, I guess this is as far as I go. I will leave now—"
"Himawari!" A familiar voice yelled as the entrance to the house got opened.
It was mom, Hinata Uzumaki. She quickly rushed towards me and Himawari.
"Are you alright? Why are you so late? I got worried!" A tons of question flowed out of her mouth as she stand in front of Himawari.
"Mom~! Stop it you're embarrassing me!" Himawari cut her off.
Only then, mom notice me standing beside Himawari.
"Who are you?" Hinata asked with a menacing look.
"Apparently, Iruka Sensei is worried about my safety so he told this blonde to escort me." Himawari answered trying to calm mom down.
"Oh!" She exclaimed "Now why don't you come in and have lunch with us? It's will be too late when you go back home anyway."
"It's okay. I'll just skip lunch." I pouted refusing her offer.
"Oh no, young man!" Her voice got louder "You must keep a healthy diet and I will feel bad if I didn't repay you with anything at all."
With that I got drag by mom into the Uzumaki household while Himawari trailed behind us laughing at my pathetic state.

Naruto's pov

Luckily, there isn't that much work today so I rushed back home to spend time with Hinata and my sweet little sunflower(in Japanese is "himawari").
I opened the door and said "I'm home!"
I saw Himawari ran into my arms and yelled "Welcome back!"
I walked into the living room surprised to see a new face sitting on the couch. It was a young blonde boy with eyes bluer than mine. He has a scar on the right half of his face and two whiskered mark on his cheek.
"Anata, who is that boy over there?" I asked my wife who is still cooking.
"Boruto" The boy suddenly said.
"Huh?" I replied confused by what he meant.
"My name is Boruto(in English is "bolt")." He said again.
"Okay then, Boruto what are you doing in my house?" I ask with a serious expression.
"I invited him in." Hinata said while preparing the table.
"Iruka Sensei told him to escort me and mom felt bad if she did not repay him so she invite him in for lunch." Himawari added.
"Ok then, thanks for taking care of Himawari!"
I turn my head towards the blonde boy to show my gratitude.
"Next time you should take good care of her, she was literally bullied by her own classmates." Boruto said.
"Bullied!?" Me and Hinata yelled in unison. "Himawari, Are you okay?" I asked as I shifted her body around to look for injuries.
"She is fine since I got there on time." Boruto said "but those jerks should still be punished for what they did." He added with an annoyed tone.
"Thank goodness, but-" I looked towards Himawari and asked "why didn't you tell me or mom you were bullied?"
She looked down trying to avoid making an eye contact with me and Hinata.
She said "I just don't want to trouble you guys all the time."
I sighed and thanked the stranger for telling me this. For awhile, the room was filled with awkward silence.
Hinata then broke the silence and said "W-well lunch is ready why don't we sit down and eat?"
We all moved to the dining table in silence.
"Well sulking isn't going to do anything... So let's all just enjoy the food and smile a little!"
The blonde boy said reducing all the tension in the room.
"Yeah! Eating was supposed to be for bonding times with your family so we shouldn't be sulking, ya know" I laughed and said "Itadakimasu!"
And we started to laugh and chatter on the dining table. We also crack a few silly jokes to make everyone laughed. After we finished , he left with a silly grin on his face.
"He was so cheerful like you in the past." Hinata chuckled.
"Now that I think about it he looks a lot like a younger version of you, papa!" Himawari added.
"Well I'd love to stay and chat but I need to get to work. Sorry Himawari maybe we will talk about it next time." I blurred and pat Himawari's head.
After I bid Hinata and Himawari farewell, I went back to the office to finished the million piles of paperwork.
