Roof Top

Jonathan came early at school and found Diana at the hallway.

"Jonathan, morning." she greeted him.

"Yeah. Good morning." he replied and continued on his way.

"Is he mad?" Diana asked in herself because he just didn't even stopped just to talk with her.

"Maybe they are all mad just because of what happened yesterday." she said and continued to walk.

Nakasalubong niya ang babaeng palagi niyang kalaban sa mga contest noon sa Arts. She's Yanna.

"Hi there, Diana." she said and smiled. Diana faced down.

"Why is she here?" she asked in herself. That girl wasn't learning in that school.

"I heard that you're the most famous artist here." she said.

"But when you're at our school, feels like you're just the most underrated artist there." Yanna's friend said and they both laughed.

"You're always been a loser too." she said and they went away. Diana standing there started to cry but someone suddenly came and tapped her back.

"Don't you cry, Diana."

When Diana looked at her back to see who might that be, her eyes widened.

They sat down together.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes Carla."

"I heard what those girls said about you." she said.

"Just don't mind them. Maybe it's right." Diana gasped.

Carla rubbed her hair.

"By the way, how are you?" she asked and neglect there topic.

"I'm okay. I didn't even expect you'll console me." Diana said and looked at her.

"Why not? I heard that Albert likes you." she said and smiled politely at Diana.

"B-But you're his fiancé, y-you should be the one that he likes!" she said stammering.

"I can't force him." she sighed and stood up.

"Hope you'll be okay now." she added and went away.

"She's kinda good too.." Diana said.

[Albert's classroom]

"Ohayo!(morning!)" Albert's classmate greeted him.

Napatulala lang si Albert.

"Okay ka lang?" he asked.

"Just leave me alone." Albert said.

He didn't know what to do. Why does his father told him not to be with his friends. He thought his life would already be better, but it's just only for a short time.

"I know my friends are really offended of me." he said.

At noon he came to meet Jonathan and he waited outside of Jonathan's classroom. Jonathan didn't came out, but he saw him inside lying his head at the table like he didn't care anymore.

"Even Jonathan? What's happening now?"

He go to the cafeteria alone. He didn't came to meet the others, because he knows that they also don't wanna meet him too. He eats alone, but Carla came and sat at his front.

"Albert, are you okay?" she asked.

"I'm not. Don't you see my expression?" he said glowering at her.

"Yes..I'm just asking."

"Leave me alone." he said for the second time.

"Someone needs a comforter you know that." she said.

"Just let me be your comforter." she insisted him.

"I said leave me alone!" he sobbed at her and the crowd became quiet and they look at the two.

"Sorry for disturbing you." she sighed and stood up.

"I knew from the beginning that you'll really hate me." she added and looked down. Albert's chest bloated and said,

"Just obey what I said."

So she went away. His friends saw what happened, and they felt pain too.

Sinalubong ni Diana si Carla.

"Carla?" said Diana in a low voice and looked up at her.

"Go to Albert. I think he'll let you comfort him." she uttered and went away. Diana slowly walked to Albert's table.

Albert was just looking down and didn't continued to eat. He might be crying.

"A-albert?" she said stuttering. She feared that Albert might get angry too. He looked up at her and his eyes are wet.

"Did he say leave him alone?"

"But that girl stood infront of him!"

"Is she deaf?"

The students were murmuring to each other.

"Sorry Albert. But a friend never leaves his friend carrying his burden alone. Like what the Bible says, let us help carry one another's burden." she said and pinch her bag, she was still frightened. Albert slowly stood up and grabbed her hand.

All of the sudents at the cafeteria were shocked. Albert didn't get angry at her.

He brought her to the roof top.

"Just stay here." he uttered at binitawan ang kamay niya. He went to the side and watch the view.

"It's not really hot here this noon. I can feel free to watch the view right now." he said and breathe.

"Albert?" she uttered. Albert came back to her and grabbed her hand again and make her watch the view too.

"I was back to my senses with what you said earlier." he said and smiled at her.

"It's true. So just as you feel free to watch the view here, feel free to tell your problems to me too." she said.

"I didn't thought you would said this to me. I thought you hate me." he said and chuckled. Diana laughed.

"That was just the time when were still not friends. I've realized now that you have many problems too. I shouldn't have to be angry at you." she replied and watch over the view.
