CHAPTER 6

Lowanne Pideta

She's a hearthrob. She has a blood of a Chinese, sometimes she's called 'Chinita' and her nickname is 'Wanwan' sounds weird and yes, she hates that.

Everytime she came at school, her fellow students greeted her.

"Goodmorning Chinita!"
"Morning Lowanne."
"Hi Wan! Good morning."

She just simply smile and she always held her head high.

And not just that, also she was known for being talented. Great at singing, dancing, arts, playing instruments and more. She's almost perfect.

LOWANNE'S POV

I'm Lowanne, 17 years old. I have a height of 1.74 cm. I like tying my hair up.

At classroom, when there's no teacher my classmates always come near to me and wanna talk with me.

"Lowanne, what's your secret for being so pretty?" my girl classmate asked.
"I was born pretty." I answered with no hesitation.
"Woah, your very confident Lowanne!"

"Wan wan!"
"Shut it!" I covered his mouth.
"She don't like being called wan--"
Hinila ko ang buhok niya.
"I said shut it."

At the cafeteria, am always eating alone. I know my classmates always love talking to me but I don't have friends. I just don't like it.

But I always heard my name being the topic of these people around me.

And someone came near to me.
"Lowanne, may gusto daw manligaw!"
I widened at tumayo agad ako.
"Wait, what?"
"Si Tony daw oh.." hinila nila ang isang kasama nila na si Tony raw.
He chuckled.
I put my hands on my waist and raised my right eyebrow.

"Uy grabe naman kayo, di ako manliligaw!" he yeld at his friends.

"Oh really?
Don't interrupt me while am eating!" sinigawan ko sila at lahat ng nasa cafeteria ay nakatingin sa amin.
"Oops sorry, I said.. Wanna join with me?" I smiled bitterly.
Di sila makasagot, nahihiya na kase sila dahil nakatingin ang lahat sa amin.

"Oh, ba-kan-te po yung ha-ra-pan ko, u-po na. Hindi? Hindi? Edi 'wag!"
So I just sat down and continue eating.
Umupo yung tatlong lalaki sa harapan ko.
"Ahh, sige kain na!" and I had a fake smile on my face.

My day sounds call and embarrassing. When I got home I felt dissapointed, my parents were fighting again. I don't want to enter in, maybe I'll be involved again.
