Nova black - Sirius' twin

chapter 2 - the sorting

we got off the train and was greeted with a giant of a man, he took us to a giant lake. There was only four people allowed in a carriage so I told the boys,

"you guy's get some bonding time, Ima go make friends!" 

I wandered of and found a girl she had lovely long red hair and was so pretty.

"HEY!"

she jumped startled by my yelling.

"you don't need to give me a bloody heart attack!"

I laughed. "I need to share your boat,"

"okay,"

I picked wormtail and scabars out of my pockets and put them on my shoulders.

"can I hold them?"

"yes of course,"

I handed her my boys before I spotted a tentacle pop out the water and grab the side of the boat, I leant over and realised to late that I had fallen in the water.

"IT'S COLD!"

I felt giant hands lift me up out the water and plop me back on my boat I was shivering and the girl with my rats were laughing.

"my names Lilly Evans,"

"I'm Nova Black,"

"nice, what house do you think you'll be in?"

"well I have friends who are DEFINITLY going to be in Gryffindor and I suppose I want to be in it but my mum said she'd disown me if I'm not in Slytherin,"

"Oh My Gosh! are you sure she wasn't joking around?"

"my mum never makes jokes,"

"oh here are your rats,"

"thanks,"

"Jameshasacrushonyou," 

"what?"

I giggled evilly and refused to tell her, she'd find out soon enough!

When we got to shore I was shaking, I had my rats on my shoulders. Sirius walked over to me and began to tease me about (yet again) falling over. I smiled at him and shoved him in the water, he completely submerged before bobbing back up. I helped him onto land while he tried to dry his precious hair. he snatched my fattest rat from my shoulder (scabars) because he probably wanted more warmth than me. I laughed as he glared at me. 

We went into the castle and a very tall woman wearing all green came up to us.

"I am professor McGonagall head of Gryffindo- why on earth are you two wet?" 

"well you see miss-"

"shut it Sirius, McGonagall I fell in the lake when we were coming over then this idiot decided to tease me about it and he should have expected what was coming if I go down, he goes down with me,"

"you must be the black twins, must I say you look identical!"

"well McGonagall we are twins,"

"yes... well any who you will wait here until everyone is ready for the sorting, any questions?"

I put up my hand. "yes Mr black,"

"miss black, any who regulus told me that I had to fight a snake, badger, eagle and lion, I'm not worried about any of them except the lion, my last encounter with one ended up with me in hospital,"

"No, of course not!"

"Can you expel him then McGonagall he did lie to me,"

"of course not!"
