A chapter mainly about people on the other side, let's remind you that the place is called Magiland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The full moon hung in the starry sky, spraying the great wall and the vast battlefield with a gloomy azure glow. The moonlight highlight the oddness in the atmosphere at this night with the long shadows cast by the surviving trees around.
Today's wind is a bit noisy, irregular wind brushes on the rough surface of the great wall barrier. A nightjar's cry and the beat of wings interrupt the steady wind rush abruptly. Someone is standing on the top of the great wall, the moonlight casting on the person showing an abstractly obsessive female body outline, probably a beauty.
The person hangs up the elbow as she heard the sound as if she is welcoming the sudden visitor. So are the nightjar, naturally landed on the extended elbow, it is certainly not a stranger to the standing person.
The eyes of the nightjar shine like obsidian, the darkness of night couldn't cast a mist before its night vision, it doesn't miss anything among its vision.
"Got it, thanks, here, you may go now."
It looks like the person receives information from the little messenger, she feeds the nightjar and let it go.
"Now I have got your position clearly too, Tartarus." The person murmured under the starry sky, doesn't seem to enjoy the night view but she sounds like having an ambitious vision.
The lone field is then disturbed by scratching noise, a visitor comes.
"Not planning to rest, don't you? What's your doing, Rose?" the Yasha samurai asked.
"It's not the time, I just got the actual location of the facility of Tartarus, plus the information of entrances, we at least get a chance." Rose answered.
"Humm. Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated." Rokurou smirks. "Well, we may have a fight tomorrow, why don't give it a break now, the wine is here, then drink while you can."
The ring is then ringed when the glass bottle is placed on the stone pathway, the female chuckles when she knows someone brings a wine here. The hellion probably planned to admire the moon with his wine brought along, he always knows the way to relax even before an important battle. Even for a battle maniac, he is a wise one too.
"I wish I didn't disturb your night."
"It's never a bad thing to get drunk with someone." Rokurou smiled.
"I don't plan to get drunk though, one of your collections?"
"Yep."
"As you share it, I won't insist then."
They sit on the edge of the wall, the Yasha pours her some wine and Rose takes the glass.
"A chance to win huh..." Rokurou murmured.
"Well, we have got our reliable companions."
"Even for Velvet?" Rokurou asked tentatively, Rose smirked as she heard, she should know that Rokurou is curious with her actual thought about his old friend.
"Of course, she is willing to struggle, that's enough to call her reliable."
For all moments Rose has observed Velvet, she sees many of her human sides. A saint, a good person, both of them hard to be defined among humans, and it is hard to believe in them while they are not working for themselves but others. There is always a selfish part in humans, a deal is built on satisfying the selfish wish of each other, and so is trust. Therefore, for a person like Velvet, she has her selfish side, certainly not a bad person, also she cares about others, these three things of human sides are already enough to persuade Rose to believe in her. In addition, Velvet has stated her aim, a mutual direction with a mutual person they cared, there is nothing telling Rose not to trust Velvet.
