Standing in Gipsy, watching the controls come down, Raleigh and I stayed quiet. We stood there, watching and then looked to each other. I gave a weak smile and he too gave a weakened expression. He seemed to still be surprised and maybe upset about what I said just moments ago. As we stepped on and plugged in, we didn't talk. It wasn't an awkward silence, but a calm one. We are about to go into what might, and possibly will be our last battle that we may never return from...it's a scary thought. We then both finished everything as we entered the Drift. Like always he was shown the past with my sister and parents before they died and sometimes with Pentecost. While I was shown times with his brother and we both saw the final moments of our siblings. As we finished checking Gipsy before shooting down, Raleigh spoke, breaking the silence.

"You know, Kris, all those years I spent living in the past... I never really thought about the future. Until now. I never did have very good timing." He then held out his hand and I looked to it, then back up to him.

"I don't understand..." I said, confused. Raleigh took a breath as he said his next words.

"Marry me?" he asked. My eyes grew and I gasped, deeply. Nodding my head, I grabbed his hand.

"Yes..." I whispered as he smiled, holding my hand tightly. As I replied Gipsy's head dropped.

Carried out to sea by helicopters we kept our hands held together. We heard as we where realised from the helicopters and we had to let go of each other as we dropped a few feet. Smashing into the water, I turned to see Striker by our side. Turning back to the front and working with Raleigh, I watched as Gipsy descended into water. As the water reached Gipsy's chest, I heard Pentecost though the communicator.

"Loccent, all ports sealed. Ready to submerge."

"All ports sealed. Ready to submerge." Raleigh responded. All of a sudden the water the was reaching Gipsy's collar swallowed her head underwater. I had to admit, it was quite beautiful to watch. My mind was brought back to focus on the mission as I heard Herc though the communicator.

"Two actives still in circle formation in the Guam quadrant. Code names, Scunner and Raiju. Both Category 4."

"Roger that." Pentecost shouted. "Half a mile to the ocean cliff, we jump." We were now hundreds of feet under water and walking across the oceans floor.

"Visibility's zero. Switching to instruments now." Raleigh said as he pushed a few buttons. We continued to walk, with our sight still limited when Herc started speaking.

"Gipsy, you have movement on your right. Three o'clock! Three o'clock!"I looked to Raleigh as he looked around. Even though nothing was on the left, I still checked over. I then looked to the raider to see if anything was around.

"100-feet radius clear." Gipsy's AI verified.

"Right flank's clear. I got nothing." Raleigh responded.

"Neither." I added. Tendo was then faintly heard.

"Left now! And moving fast! Fastest Kaiju on record!" I shot my head to the left and couldn't see anything. I double and triple checked. As I was about to reply, saying nothing was there, I saw slight movement. Turning to try see better, I couldn't see anything.

"I thought I saw something, but its moving too fast!" I cried back to Tendo and Herc. Chuck's voice then came.

"Eyes on the price, Gipsy. 600 meters from the drop." Still checking around we continued forward. Seconds later we where jumping down to get closer to the Breach, falling deeper into the ocean. Impacting with the ground as we landed, Chuck spoke again. "Four hundred meters and closing." We walked a little further before we saw our first Kaiju. Herc's voice came seconds later.

"Striker! Bogeys are stopping. One o'clock." Raleigh looked to me and I looked back, confusion on my face.

"Why would they stop?" I wondered. Raleigh shrugged his shoulders in response.

"Striker, the bogeys aren't following.Take the leap now!" Herc cried. Suddenly, distant yells where heard as someone was shouting at the top of their lungs, rushing to the microphone.

"Move, you fascist!" It so happened to be Newt. "Blowing up the Breach it's not gonna work!" He cried. I looked to Raleigh, dropping my eyebrows, confused as Pentecost spoke.

"What do you mean? What's not going to work?!"

"Sir, just because the Breach is open does not mean you're able to get a bomb through." He spoke again, rocketing.

"The Breach genetically reads the Kaiju, like a bar code at the supermarket and then lets them pass." Hermann cried, a little slower and calmer then Newt.

"Okay, so you're gonna have to fool the Breach into thinking that you have the same code!" Newt yelled.

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Raleigh questioned as we tried to focus back to walking and what was in front of us.

"By making it think you are a Kaiju." Newt replied.

"You have to lock onto the Kaiju, ride it into the Breach. The Throat will read the Kaiju's genetic code, and let you pass." Hermann explained.

"If you don't do it the bomb will deflect off the Breach, like it always has and the mission will fail." Newt fastly spoke again.

"All right." Herc cried as he took back the microphone. "Now that you've heard all that, Striker, take the leap!"

"Sir!"We all heard Tendo cry. I instantly looked to the communicator as he continued to speak. "I have a third signature emerging from the Breach!" Raleigh and I looked at each other for the third time as Herc repeated Tendo's words.

"How big is it?" Pentecost asked. "What Category?" I questioned. A pause followed and then Herc's breath could be heard.

"Striker,Gipsy. It's a Category 5." My mouth gaped at Herc's words. "The first ever." Raleigh and I looked in front of us again and looked out of the hull to see bright lights coming form the Breach. Suddenly a gigantic Kaiju swam out, growling. He was massive. He was defiantly by far, the biggest Kaiju we had ever seen. He had tentacles and joined arms and a v-shaped short of head. We watched as he leaned forward and growled at Striker. As he let out a mighty roar, I looked at the monitor to see its code name...Slattern.
