Recap: Kion takes (Y/n) dancing. Leo gets jealous.

With a groan, Kion let go of (Y/n) and staggered backwards. He was holding onto his shoulder where a thin silver knife rested.

(Y/n) felt a hand pull her back, but she was still to shocked to react. Leo's hand caressed her shoulder as if it had not stabbed someone moments ago.

"I told you to get your filthy hands off of her," Leo sneered, bringing (Y/n) back to her senses.

She backed away from Leo, looking at him as if he was crazy—which, honestly, he was.

"Y-you stabbed him," she mumbled. Leo nodded calmly.

"He deserved it."

(Y/n) felt deeply unnerved. It wasn't normal to think like that. It wasn't normal to stab your brother.

A loud set of hurried footsteps sounded through the hallway. The door was thrown open. Ellis walked into the room, with two guards close behind. How they knew what was going on was beyond (Y/n). She was just happy not to be stuck between the two unstable princes.

"What is this?" Ellis asked Leo. His voice was firm and almost leathery. The brown haired boy only shrugged in response.

He turned to Kion, and seemed to finally take notice of the knife in his shoulder.

"Guards, take Prince Kion to the infirmary."

The two guards nodded and led Kion through the door. The blonde stumbled slightly, and winced when his arm moved. The wound would take some time to heal but he would be okay. Leo, on the other hand, was a whole different problem.

Ellis turned back to young prince and sighed.

"I'll talk to you about this later. (Y/n), come with me."

Leo began to protest, but a sharp look made him shrink back. (Y/n) followed Ellis through the door and down the hall. The black-haired male stopped suddenly, as if he had thought of an idea.

"Let's get something to eat."

"Okay," (Y/n) said. She was unsure of being around Ellis, but some food did sound pretty nice.

They made their way to the kitchen. The staff looked up and bowed when they saw Ellis.

"My king what brings you here?" one of the cooks asked. She looked down as she spoke. So did all of the others. (Y/n) felt put of place.

"Do you have any chocolate cake?" He asked.

The woman froze. "I'm sorry my king we don't, but we can make some," she added—more like rushed—out.

Ellis waved his hand. "We'll just make it ourselves."

"But—"

"You are all dismissed. You have the rest of the day to yourselves."

A quiet chatter spread across the room, as the workers left the room. They wasted no time before leaving, fearing that their king would change his mind. Soon Ellis and (Y/n) were the only two in the room.
