Chapter 9

While Taehyung was reminiscing over his first training session, Jungkook wasn't even bothered to think about it once. The first thing he thought of, after the training was over, was to go to his room.

Once he reached there, he quickly dialed the number of Mr. Jung, his secretary. Mr. Jung was also Jungkook's personal advisor who always told him about his own opinion on the current topic of discussion.

On the third ring the call was accepted. From the other side of the phone call, Mr. Jung's bubbly and warm voice was heard.

"Hello, sir. How are you at Mr. Kim's residence?"

"I am fine. Everything is going very smoothly till now. Mr. Kim approves of me and Taehyung...well, I can get along with him too. Actually, I wanted your opinion on something."

"What is it, boss?"

Jungkook took a deep breath before he tried to explain his thoughts to his secretary.

"It is regarding my original plan. I was wondering how should I get the crucial information that is needed. It is obvious that I have to earn the respect of the whole family first before ruining them."

"Yes, you are right, sir. You can earn their respect through different wa-"

"I am not going to change my personality or the way I talk to people." Jungkook said quickly in a warning tone, cutting Mr. Jung's sentence.

"No need of that. You don't have to change yourself because it will be obvious that you are faking everything. However, you can indulge yourself more in their family and spend time with them, help them and advice them. This way they will have no other option but to give their heart, trust, and respect to you."

"And that will be my cue to work out my original scheme and the whole family will know about my true intentions. Excellent! Thank you, Hoseok. As always, you proved yourself to be a great help." Jungkook said while his eyes roamed around the door, suspicious if anyone was trying to listen to his conversation.

"I am honoured."

"Now, tell me, is everything alright at your side? No problems or anything?"

"There are no problems here, sir. But Mr. John wanted to have a meeting with you. He didn't tell me about the matter, as he said you will already know what he means."

"As a matter of fact, I do know what he means. But he can surely wait. Please inform him about this and also tell him that I am busy for nearly half a month. That's all."

Jungkook hung up and hid his personal phone in his bag as it secured all of his contacts, meeting plans and his identity as Jk.

He felt exceptionally proud of himself as everything was going just as he had planned and he was hoping that the fate would not interfere as an obstacle during the most important phase of his life and no unexpected incidents would occur in this treacherous, unknown place.

Yo, wassup? I am back with another update. There are some things I wanna clear about this chapter. First, Jungkook is asking help/advice from his secretary. Now some people might think that hE Is a MaFIa LeAdEr, WhY Is hE AsKInG hElP?

Then I should tell that JK/Jungkook has became a mafia leader on his own, without any help. He was a kid when he had chosen to rise up to the level of utmost secrecy and killing (I am so freaking dramatic 💀). However, sometimes he needs someone to advice him and assure him that his plans are correct. I didn't want to make Jk's character someone without any flaws and someone who is like a God, able to do anything, because no💖, it can't happen. So yeah that's it.
