Tae Joo couldn't focus on his lunch. His mood dropped and Lee Jun noticed the changes.

"why did you have to brush my hair at that time, why, why , why?" he whined complaining.

"why did your hair fall at that moment?"

"I was saying no I didn't mean to leave you behind"

"ok I understand now eat"

Tae Joo shook his head again.

"why are you saying no again?" Lee Jun asked.

"do you think he got the wrong idea?"

"I'm sure he was just surprised"

"Nooooo He shouldn't be surprised at all."

"do you know what we should do?"

Tae Joo's face lit up as he nodded his head eagerly waiting to hear Lee Jun's ideas.

"after work, lets invite him and explain that there's nothing going on between us."

"I like it." Tae Joo's mood changed drastically after that.

"now eat or I'll cancel everything."

Tae Joo started eating his food. He was looking forward to it. He was finally going to talk to Kang Gook. His Gookkie. He had played it safe at the Court room because he had to win the case without emotions getting in between. Now it was different. There was nothing standing between them. There was no reason not to do everything he had missed doing with his Gookkie.

After lunch they got back to their offices.

"do you know where his office is at?"

"I know"

"Wow, you sure are fast."

"can't blame me"

They walked to Kang Gook's offices and when they talked to the secretary, she let them in without asking further because Tae Joo was the owner's son. But still Tae Joo knocked on the door and heard a tired come in from inside.

When they got in Tae Joo was surprised to see Kang Gook and his friend from earlier. He was leaning over Kang Gook's shoulder watching something on the screen of the laptop. The two guys didn't make any move to separate or create space between themselves. The man actually leaned in closer and made Tae Joo uncomfortable. He didn't like it one bit.

As Tae Joo was about to sit down, he saw the man extend his hand flirtishly touching Kang Gook's hands on the table.

Tae Joo looked away. This was not what he came back to see.

"what has brought you here?" The man asked seeming stuck above Kang Gook.

"you work here?" Tae Joo asked really bothered by Kang Gook's colleague.

"yes, I'm Jae Wook. Ahn Jae Wook."

"ok. We came to invite you to dinner or drinks later on after work" Kang Gook who had not said anything just nodded and looked on his laptop.

"Jagiya, should we cancel our plans and join them?" Jae Wook asked affectionately.

"yeah"

"are you guys dating?" Tae Joo asked wanting to understand the nature of their relationship.

"yes"

Everyone in the room looked at Jae Wook including Kang Gook who seemed surprised by the straightforward answer.

"are you dating?" Tae Joo asked directing the question to Kang Gook. He wanted to hear it from the horse' mouth.

"are you?"

"Jagi, answer them" Jae Wook nudged Kang Gook softly.

"y-ye-yeah, we are"

Tae Joo closed his eyes. His heart breaking. He might have taken a little bit more time than he should have to calm down. He felt Lee Jun shaking his hand.

"Tae Jooya" He called out loud and that got Kang Gook attention. He clenched his teeth in irritation.

Tae Joo was clenching his hands and his nails were digging in his palm. He was controlling himself. He was holding himself.

"come on let's go" Lee Jun stood up and pulled Tae Joo up from his seat.

"we'll see you guys later" Lee Jun said as he left holding Tae Joo.

"we'll see you after work" Jae Wook said as the pair left the room.

When they were outside, before Lee Jun asked Tae Joo assured him,

"I'm ok," he said,

"as if." Let's go to your office."

Lee jun didn't leave Tae Joo's office afraid that the fragile man might become emotional again. He tried all his best to laugh and just lighten Tae Joo's mood. It worked for most of the day but when afterhours approached, Tae Joo was shaking. He didn't want to sit on the dinner table watch his person be close to someone else. He had come all the way to be with Kang Gook, but Kang Gook had moved on.

"we don't have to go" Lee Jun said as they were logging out of their laptops.

"we promised them we would. We asked them to join us"

"but not like when you are like this" Lee Jun said pointing at Tae Joo's nervous hands that were shaking visibly.

Tae Joo didn't disagree, he was not strong enough to face Kang Gook and his boyfriend. He knew they had to go back to the hotel and have a good night rest. He had to calm his feelings and emotions down.

They made their way to Kang Gook's office but instead they met again in the elevator,

"we were about to go to your office" Lee Jun said to the couple.

"is everything ok" Kang Gook asked concerned.

"yes, its just Tae Joo is feeling tired from work, so we'll cancel tonight's plans and maybe have dinner another day. He really needs to rest"

"of course" Jae Wook said and turned to Kang Gook, "its you and me after all"

Tae Joo did not turn his head. He kept on looking at the closed door of the elevator. He tuned out from the interactions going on. Instead he was amazed by how shiny the metal was. He could see the reflection of the people in the room on the door. He looked and saw Lee Jun's reflection. He was now typing on the phone. He looked and saw Kang Gook. His eyes widened and he looked away. Kang Gook was looking at him through the elevator door. He started asking himself stupid questions in his head. Like when did Kang Gook start staring, for how long, why was he staring etc.

When they got their hotel room, Lee Jun called Tae Joo's mother and after that he started packing Tae Joo's clothes. Tae Joo did not protest.

In as much as he wanted to be with Kang Gook, he didn't want to die.

He had to go before something big happens to him.
