Chapter 16

Friday afternoon, Tae Joo saw that Kang Gook was acting weird. He was being too showy and touchy which only made Tae Joo more uncomfortable. He didn't want to hurt Kang Gook's feelings though, so he let him have his way. They had agreed to become boyfriends, so he had to deal.

It was lunch time when things had started to go wrong. Kang Gook had made Tae Joo sit in his lap.

When he was going to buy lunch with his friends, he emphasised the word boyfriend as if he was announcing something to his friends.

Pil Hyun stayed behind as the group of boys went to buy their food.

"hi Tae Joo" Pil Hyun said as the two sat at the table.

"Hi how are you?" Tae Joo politely responded.

"I'm good, it's just that lately I have been having these feelings towards you?"

"what kind of feelings?" Tae Joo asked

"I think I like you"

"its good that you're not sure" Tae Joo answered as he looked at the direction of his boyfriend.

"I'm in love with you" Pil Hyun plainly stated.

"Look Hyung, I don't know what game you're playing, and I don't appreciate it. You know very well that mi in a relationship with your friend and we love each other so much."

Pil Hyun looked to see if the guys were coming and continued when he saw it was clear, "I guarantee you he doesn't love you back"

"how can you say that when you are his friend?"

Pil Hyun leaned closer and whispered,

"I am going to text you tonight, when I do, come to my hostel and hear it yourself"

Tae Joo didn't have the chance to reply as the guys approached the table holding plates of food. He was conflicted. Something was definitely going on. He thought Pil Hyun was Kang Gook's friends, but he had suddenly changed and the cause no one knew.

The whole lunch hour and after, Tae Joo grew frustrated by Kang Gook's attitude. He was flaunting him in front of the school and what creeped him out even more was how Pil Hyun kept on giving him suggestive looks.

It was after lectures that Kang Gook went to get them food but did not return to the room. Tae Joo texted him asking what's taking long and he replied saying he had stopped by his friend's room.

Five minutes later, Tae Joo was receiving a text message from Pil Hyun asking him to come to his room.

A part of him didn't want to go there. He was nervous and felt guilty for not trusting Kang Gook and believing Pil Hyun's story. But he had to know what Kang Gook felt. He had to know how much Kang Gook loved him.

He grabbed his phone and went to Pil Hyun's room. When he was close, he heard a burst of laughter from the room.

The door was not shut completely, and their voices were clear. He recognised everyone's voice in the room and realised the whole crew was inside.

He stood beside the door listening.

It was as if Pil Hyun knew Tae Joo was outside when he started speaking.

"so, Kang Gook you won the bet and I admit defeat"

"It was obvious he was going to win" Kwang Soo said.

"so, did you guys have sex yet?" Lee Jun was curious.

The room went quiet with anticipation.

"we are boyfriends of course we had sex"
