"Toby!"my mom called me, so I go upstairs to her room.
"Y-yeah?"
"rachel is gonna sleep over tonight"
"Really?!"I ask,excitment in my voice.
She respo s by nodding vigorously and smiling.
"M-mom?"I ask.
"Yes honey?"
"Is d-dad gonna be here?"
"Yes sweetie,he told me I should have her over tonight,I don't know why,but he did an you will thank him for it"
"Oh ok"I respond,turnim to walk out of the room.
"She'll be here at 2:00"my mom adds as I walks out.
I walk downstairs and look at the clock on the stove to see its only 7:26."really,its only 7:26?"I whisper myself,looking for some waffles.
Once I find some I take 6 ouy of the box putting them on the plate to put them in the toaster.
They don't all fit so I have to do 4 and she they're done the other 2.
I sigh as I wait for them to get done."this is g-gonna be a looonng day"I say to myself.
The last 2 waffles ding and I get up and take them out and getting the syrup out.I set the plate on the counter and coat them in a lake of syrup.
I get a fork and stab it through my waffles and pick three up and bite into the sticky waffles that are dripping syrup.
My mom comes downstairs to get her breakfast and looks at me giggling a little,"when your done eating you might wanna check yur face in the mirror"
"OK I w-will"I say with a mouthful of waffle.
I finish my waffles and pick up my plate and bring it to the sink and set I in there noisily and turn and run upstairs to look in the bathroom mirror.
I look in the mirror to see that my face I coated in sticky brown syrup all over my mouth and cheeks.I giggle and start cleaning it off.
When I'm done I run downstairs and turn on my PlayStation and play god of war.
I love this game because there's a lot of blood in it and i get to kill a lot.
I've already finished it once so I restart it.
My mom comes in the living room."toby,its time for lunch,pause the game and come eat"
I walk out into the kitchen to see chicken noodle soup is on the table waiting to be eaten.I and eat and look at the stove clock against to see that its 12:45.
I eat quickly and go back to my game.
I play that for about an hour before changing the game to Mario because I know my mom doesn't like my game god of war.
"Toby!what by the door,Rachel will be here in about 5 minuets!"
I turn and looks at the clock to see that its 1:55 and there is indeed 5 minuets.
"Ok!"I respond walking to the door.
I sit on the couch that has the window above it and is by the door.
I see her running down the street in a few minuets.
I get up and go to the door and walk outside to see the bright white snow.
"Hey rachel!"I yell as she walks up the drive way.
"Hey toby!"she responds,laughing when she sees that I'm still in my pajamas.
I realise that I haven't changed yet and laugh.
I go open the door for her so she can get her stuff all inside.
"Mom!R-rachels here!"
"Ok,bring her stuff into Lyra's room cause that's where she will be staying"
"Awwwww"I pick up her stuff,bringing it up to Lyra's room an knock on the door.
Lyra opens it,smiling opon seeing me.
"Lyra,m-mom say that Rachel is g-gonna sleep in here with y-you tonight..."
"Oh yeah."she responds thoughtfully."put her stuff on my bed for now Toby"she says finally.
I walk in and t her bed,setting Rachel's stuff down,then turn and walk out of the room and before walking out I hug lyra.
She hugs back."ok,now play"she says,releasing the hug.
"Ok..."I say leading Rachel back downstairs.
"Wanna play the PlayStation?"I ask her.
"Sure!"she responds happily.
I turn on majoras mask and we play until my dad gets home.
When he does I immediately turn the game off so that he can watch TV.
Mom has finally finished dinner,its Mac and cheese.
Me and Rachel go sit down to eat ours an lyra runs downstairs to eat.
"When your done,its time to sleep."dad says softer than usual.
"Are you forgeting something?"mom whispers to me.
"Th-thank you d-dad..."I say softly.
Dad does nothing in turn.
I shrug it off and finish eating my food and soon after Rachel's done.
I go upstairs to take a shower while lyra gets Rachel ready to go to bed.
When I get out of the shower and I'm dressed,I walk out of the bathroom and down the hall to Lyra's room an see that Rachel is asleep.I smile and walk to my room to go to sleep.
I walks up I the morning from someone prodding my arm."moooom,I'm t-tirrrred"I say but the prodding doesn't stop.
I open my eyes angrily and my eyes lock with the blue eyes of Rachel. I looks at the clock to see its only 4:37am.
"Rachel,its 4:40 i-in the morning"I yell whisper.
"Yeah,I know but I've something Ive been needing to tell you for a while now,when no ones awake...its a secret"rachel responds...
