To Marian Blyth
Alderwood Academe
Room: Dragon Eating Princess
Marian,
Hey sis! Wow, that’s a sweet sounding spellbook. I figure if I found it, I’d get some Gryffindor to open it up, and have a rotation of people to turn the pages until we got some Ravenclaw to finish transcribing everything, or locate an immoral.
What is going on here… Gosh. It’s weird that we’re not in trouble and have had our nights free to well… be mischievous. No one really found out who convinced the ghosts to attack us during Halloween.
After classes, Daisy and I went exploring. Severus wanted Lilly to help him with potions. Amelia wasn't feeling well and went to Madam Pomfrey. Daisy has been on a 'nice' kick ever since the incident with Halloween, and the whole thing really scares me and almost everyone else. She has been using “Please”,”Thank you” and even asking if the Hufflepuffs are ok. I’ve never seen them more terrified, they can’t comprehend a nice Daisy, and fear some evil magic altered their housemate. I had to assure the Wrathpuffs that I did nothing to her.
I think they believe she did something to offend me and I used my dark powers to obliviate her to this new and improved Daisy. I never seen our command chambers cleaner!
“My Dark Lord,” she said, her arm was locked in mine as she was skipping next to me, and I had trouble keeping up the pace. Did I mention she was a good foot taller than me? “I want to show you something I found.”
I shrugged and followed, I had nothing better to do, and having Daisy latched onto me seemed to grant me smiles from the upper classmen. One of my fellow Slytherin gave me a high five. She seemed to be enjoying the attention and led us through the most crowded hallways.
“Where are we going?” I asked.
“Third floor.” She said with a grin.
It took almost a half an hour to get there with her skipping and clinging on me. We stood in front of a door that looked the same as all the other doors down the hallway. She was grinning ear to ear, rather pleased with herself.
“Open it!” She said with a giggle. I tried the handle and it didn’t open. I shrugged, pulled out my wand and cast alohomora. I heard a click and opened the door, peeking my head in.
“BARK BARK BARK BARK!” Daisy screamed behind me. Scared the crap out of me! I jumped up and tripped inside the empty room. She was on the floor giggling hysterically.
“What the hell?” I shouted rubbing the side of my head that bashed the door.
“Aww… did you get hurt?” Daisy said, picking herself up. She kissed my head where my hand was and disheveled my hair. “There, all better.”
“Enough… what’s this all about?” I said with my voice of authority, Daisy seemed to smirk even more when I did that.
“Well… since you're SO serious, my dark lord, this is a rather famous room. There was a Cerberus in that corner… and under this trap door…” Daisy hefted it opened and jumped.
“DAISY!” I shouted and ran to the edge. I heard giggling coming up from below.
“Jump, the Devils snare is still growing!” Daisy shouted up at me. I shrugged and jumped. Let it not be said I failed to follow my generals into battle.
The Devils Snare caught me, and wrapped around me. Daisy giggled next to me.
“Oh, what ever shall we do?” She said dramatically.
“I remember herbology, we just relax and it will let us go.” Sure thing, after a few moments, we were set down gently, and the plants retreated back.
