She tried to fly,
Each time she did,
"Snip! Snip!" He clipped her wings.
She stood to walk,
With her knees bound
She couldn't!
It broke her soul,
That she in a circle was bound.
Bound by the sound chains of love
unbound.She moved around in circles.
Around and around
To no avail her whispers went.
He had cut her at the moving angles.
She was bound to fail,
To remain frail around him
Caught back from the sight of bail.
She was stuck to entanglement.
To whom it may concern,
Her wails went
To whom?
She did not know,
But to someone she hoped. She was a lone mare
Stuck alone in the meadow
Backing up the saddle
Left to take the reins
Of what was left to ruins,
Her life.
