Totally done her in why?
Was it his charm?
Was it his insensitivity?
Was it...?
She failed to think
Of anything more
Than divine intervention.
Only something as strong,
Something of that sort
Only that
Could have done her in.
Only the same power,
The same driving force
Could hold her in.
And it did.
Because the reason for her 'why'
Was dark and broken,
She was done for.
He would do her in!
He cut her off at everything
He never explained why
For his experience,
For the many years
His explanations never came.
She felt blind and left out
Of a life meant for two that became,
That of one.
By and by,
Her 'why' was given a sigh.
So one day he let her in,
On his big secret,
His reason for her why,
She too sighed then
Because she understood now
That she was done for.
