The next day you are in the donut shop with Spinel, Steven, Peridot, and Amethyst. Right now you are thinking about which donut you want to have. "I prefer chocolate donut." So Steven says, and he takes two of them. Spinel wants the donut with the pink glaze and white sprinkles. Peridot and Amethyst want the marshmallow donut. Just as you're thinking about which one to take, your phone rings. You roll your eyes when you see your boss's number. "I'll be right back." You assure them and walk out. "What?" You ask annoyed. "Don't be impertinent, young lady. Tomorrow you lure them to me. I have the perfect plan already prepared..." "I quit, Miss. I will not. For the record: I can't let you hurt them. And I want no part of it." "But what about the money?" "I can get a better job. Goodbye." You hang up and turn off your phone completely. It feels so much better not to be part of the action anymore. The Gems are important to you. Spinel more, of course. Happy to get rid of your boss, go back to the shop.
Change POV
"I should have known that stupid cow would cause me so much trouble. She was useless anyway. But I don't give up so easily. And I have some ideas." She says and picks out the sleeping pills she wants to slip to the Gems and her ex-employee. She grins mischievously and starts looking for them. After a while, she found these. They sit on the beach and eat donuts. Luckily they have some drinks with them. Now Miss Green just has to manage to mix the pills in the drinks.
Change POV
Peridot asks, "How about volleyball?" You all agree with her: "Oh yes, good idea!" Peridot: "Hehe we will win." "In your dreams, I have Spinel on the team, you don't stand a chance!" You laugh. Amethyst: "There's three of us." "Pff, that's nothing." Spinel smiles. You play a few rounds of volleyball together. With Spinel's advantage of stretching, you were definitely better at it, but still, the opposing team was pretty good. You're so messed up and say in relief, "I'm on a water break." You five go back and take a little break and have a drink. "The water tastes bad." But you didn't think of anything unusual. Steven agrees with you. "That's weird..."
