Brand New Animal: Carter Ryan Beastman savior...and Beastman?

Chapter 8: Training Part 1

Shiro, Carter and Michiru arrived back at the Coop exhausted after today, especially Carter who has only been a beastman for a day and had arrived in Anima City not expecting there to be a whole lot happening on the first day. At least Carter Ryan got some information that he needed and that the group needed. The serum that affected Carter can from Sylvasta Pharmaceuticals, was created by Alan Sylvasta and that sometime earlier this week it was stolen by Alan Sylvasta who shouldn't have even had access to the building anymore. Carter thought to himself that this case was easy...to easy almost as if it was a set up, he didn't want to think about it anymore as he was to tired to think and so with that he went to sleep as tomorrow his training would begin.

The next morning:

Carter awoke to see that Michiru wasn't in her bed and decided to get up as he wanted to eat as he was starving and headed down into the living area where everyone was there.

Jem Horner: Good Morning Carter did you sleep well?

Carter Ryan: Yeah it was just what I needed after yesterdays events.

Michiru Kagemori: Yeah no kidding finding out you became a Beastman, meeting the Mayor, having a stand off with guards, finding out some answers all in one single day What an arrival.

Carter Ryan: Everyone has been asking me how I have been now Michiru how are you? you flew two adults yesterday to and from the Mayors office.

Michiru Kagemori: Oh why thank you for asking I am fine.

There is a knocking on the door and Melissa Horner answers the door "Oh hello Nazuna welcome back how was your trip?"

Nazuna Hiwatashi: yeah it was fun, I'm starting to get annoyed with all the attention that I have been getting since I became a Beastman Idol.

Michiru sees her best friend Nazuna and runs and jumps on top of her excited that her best friend is home and the pair laugh as they hugged each other.

Michiru Kagemori: Nazuna I have someone to introduce you to this is Carter Ryan he is also known as the Shadow Wolf. He is a human who became a Beastman like us, he arrived here yesterday.

Nazuna Hiwatashi: WOW YOU'RE THE SHADOW WOLF IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU!

Carter Ryan: It is a pleasure to met you too Nazuna I must admit I am a huge fan of you work. I love your cover of the song Night Running.

 Nazuna Hiwatashi: OMG THE SHADOW WOLF IS A FAN OF ME!

Michiru Kagemori: Geeze Nazuna stop fan girling over Carter and stop shouting it's not even 9:00am

Nazuna Hiwatashi: Sorry I'm just so excited that I get to meet the Shadow Wolf  in person and we all live under the same roof Eee.

Melissa Horner: Well who would like some eggs?

Nazuna Hiwatashi: yes please two fried for me please.

Carter Ryan: I'll have two poached please.

Micheru Kagemori: Hey Nazuna would you like to come to training today? Shiro and I are going to teach Carter how to shift and transform and all that would you like to tag along?

Nazuna Hiwatashi: Yeah I would love to hang out with you guys and train.

Another Knock on the door can be heard this time Carter Ryan answers the door:

Carter Ryan: Hello Shiro good morning.

Shiro Ogami: Hello everyone good morning, oh and welcome back Nazuna I hope you enjoyed your trip.

Nazuna Hiwatashi: Thank you yes I did.

Michiru Kagemori: Hey Shiro, Nazuna is tagging along to train Carter to do you mind if she helps out.

Shiro Ogami: I don't mind at all it actually makes sense since you both have the same abilities so having both of you there will better the chances of success for Carter here.

After everyone had finished breakfast Shiro, Nazuna, Michiru and Carter got into Shiro's car and headed for an abandoned warehouse the same one that Michiru and  Shiro fought Hiromu Yaba in who was the former director of the medical center who transformed into a crazed monster after he was injected with a strange serum by Boris Cliff the leader of the Cult of the Silver Wolf. The team of four entered the abandoned warehouse to find that the crater from the fight was still there which sent shivers down Michiru's spine and caused her Tanuki tail to floof up a bit.  

Michiru Kagemori: It hasn't changed, they didn't even bother to clean up the rubble.

Nazuna Hiwatashi: This place looks unsafe are you sure it's safe for Carter to train here?

Shiro Ogami: of course it's not safe which is why it is perfect as if anything happens it will trigger his fight or flight senses and because of how unsafe the place is no one will come close to it meaning it is a good place to train as we will not be spotted. We can use the crater as an arena of Carter.

Carter Ryan: Alright I will get in...So where do we start?

Shiro Ogami: Well Michiru what did you learn to do first?

Michiru Kagemori: Well when I was locked up at the docks in that cage with the children I learnt to grow my tail and then stretch my arms to reach the cabin to set us free.

Nazuna Hiwatashi: Okay Michiru and how exactly did you do that and how could you explain it to Carter here for him to try and do?

Michiru Kagemori: Well for my arms to grow i just tried reaching as far as i could and then they grew so Carter try and reach the beam above you and maybe that will work.

Carter Ryan: Okay I will try to do that but no promises.

Carter looks up to see the beam above him and her puts his arms into the air and tries stretching them but to no avail and gives up after a minute or too.

Michiru Kagemori: Well that didn't work...Try and grow your tail I just thought about making it heavy and long so maybe try that?

Carter thought about his tail being heavy and long but after a minute of trying he gave up on that.

Nazuna Hiwatashi: Well back to the drawing board. Hey maybe those abilities only apply to Michiru and I as we got our abilities via a blood transfusion but since yours was in an syringe you may have entirely different abilities to what we have?

Shiro Ogami: Okay lets try a new task try and get out by yourself with no help from either of us and you cannot use anything to build your way out. You can only use yourself and your abilities... If you have any at all.
