Book 3 of the I Love Him trilogy (Carlos DeVil)
"Daddy!" Sasha screamed happily as she raced over to our dad. I smiled and looked up to Carlos, "let's go, it's time you guys talk for real." He looked down at me with wide eyes, "you sure because now that the barriers down we have all the time in the world," he chuckled nervously. "Nope! Nows a great time," I pulled him towards my dad with a bright smile on my face. "Dad you remember Carlos," I said after I hugged him and went back to Carlos's side. "Of course how i could forget the boy my little princess had fallen head over heels for before she even knew it," he said with a little smirk. "U-uh h-hello sir... nice to see you again..." Carlos stuttered nervously. "Oh boy there's no need to be nervous just treat my daughter right and there's nothing to worry about," my dad said patting Carlos on the shoulder before walking away with Sasha so she could show him around.
"See that wasn't so bad was it?" I asked smirking at my adorably terrified boyfriend. "I mean it could've been worse but he's still extremely terrifying." He replied still visible nervous but he shook it off shortly after. "Now it's time to conquer another parental meeting." He chuckled nervously. "Yeah that I am a bit worried about," I admitted remembering the video chat with our parents a while ago. "You're nervous?" Dude asked from the ground next to Carlos, "His mom is Cruella De Vil! I'm petrified." "Wait 'til she hears I want to be a vet." Carlos chuckled and wrapped his arm around my shoulders guiding me towards the other Vks.
"Stronger together like this We reunited like this Bringing it, bringing it down!" We all sang together as everyone made their way into the castle for the after party. —————————————————————
"Do you ever miss them?" Evie asked the group consisting of Mal, Jay, Carlos, me, and herself.
"Yeah." Hay answered as we all looked over the new bridge to our old home. I sighed happily and asked, "Do you think that they miss us?"
"Yeah. Of course." Carlos answered with hope glittering in his eyes as he looked at me with a smile
"Cause we're rotten..." Mal declared as she put her fist out waiting for the rest of us.
"To the core." We all finished putting each of our fists into the circle.
"Hey, last one over the bridge..." Carlos teased causing everyone to laugh.
"Is a rotten apple!" We all yelled as we began to run over the shiny white brick bridge toward our old home.
