This was a time of war, and of peace. A time to morn the loved and despise the oppressors. A time for everything and nothing. Everything happens yet nothing really does.

In this world of time the same things happen. The people and creatures live in a controlled environment with no light for freedom. A world trapped in caos. A world, a paradise forgotten by even themselves, a love that died.

With this born of caos world came something special, something different. You.

You had no idea how important the universe was in need of you. It called you to something greater then you could ever imagine. And this is where your story begins.

It was cold tonight in Texas. A bit more cooler then usual. It's strange to think such a thing when the global panic is now not sickness but keeping the temperatures regulated of the green plant we call home for now.

You walked down the street only lit by a single trail of streetlights for miles. Your car had ran out of gas only a few short minuets ago. Typical you didn't tell anyone where you were going when you left the house. Adam your father was unaware of your delema, at least you were close to Keith's house.

Ah Keith, your long time friend, correction best friend. He was always there for you as you were for him. For some odd reason the government also had you both in the same foster houses before Adam adopted you. So you had to be together.

The friendship really grew from there. He was like the bigger brother and you little sister. He was secretly always looking out for you and always making sure you were safe. "Protect our own" was his thing.

You smiled at the time he's hit boys whenever they flirted with you when you were younger. His heart was in the right place, and it was cute to see that.

You stared off into the distance intently, trying to just make out the road to turn left to his house. Coming upon the crest of the hill you just was able to make out the road.

"If I could fly all my problems would be solved." You spoke to yourself softly with a sigh.

It was nearly complely night before you reached his house. You knew he wouldn't be asleep for another few hours. You then nocked a special rhythm on the door, a secret code you shared (My Chemical Romance: Black Parade chors)

"Come in (y.n.)" He called form inside. His voice sounded a bit, how should I put it, tired?

You carefully opened the door with the spare key he gave you. With every ounce of gracefulness in you, you walked in and closed the door behind you. You saw him looking out the window to the stary sky, arms crossed and it seemed like something was bothering him.

"Why are you here (y.n)" He asked. Always to the point he was.

"I was on my way to see you, but you see my car ran out of gas, so I walked here." You paused feeling guilty. He turned to look at you with his famous expressionless yet full of emotions face. "I should've called you idk, there's just been a lot on my mind recently." You say slowly and quietly. You then hugged your arms and let your head sag from exhaustion.

He came over and slowly hugged your waist. He buried his face in your shoulder and whispered.

"I know."

You then wrapped you arms around his neck and just rested your head on his chest. You breathed normally for the first time in a while.

"I just miss him." You said calmly. "He's been dead for so long now and... he's..." Your voice broke as a single tear came down from your face.

Keith then just hugged you slightly tighter and said even more softly. "I know (y.n.) I miss him too."

You both pulled away from the hug after a while, and sat in each others company on his couch. A sweet silence rested in the atmosphere. It pulled you in a deep state of peace, and it never felt more calming.

Breaking the silence you whispered softly but audible to his trained ears. "I really just came to see if you were ok, but I guess it was I that needed your company."

He nodded.

"It's been lonesome without you. The Garison hasn't treated your vacation days lightly."

You nodded. "They say my Vacations are distraction to my studies, even though I'm the second best fighter in training." You explained.

Keith raised and eyebrow. "Second best?"

You roled your eyes and playfully hit him. "It's you silly."

If detecting a blushing was a major of yours then you could see the faintest color in his checks, but it was invisible to you, unfortunately.

Then suddenly you heard something strange. You sat upright and he did too. He then turned to the window behind him and let his jaw drop slightly. You wondered what he was looking at untill you saw it too.

A meteor or something was plummeting through the sky at a very high speed. It looked dangerous, yet something worth being investigated.

Without hesitation you both hopped on his moter bike and speed away into the distance.
