After calming myself down to a bearable state I looked around, finding myself sitting against the door to the library. It was huge. There were shelves and rows of books going up to the second story of the house. The walls were even bookshelves.

I looked in awe as I slowly stood up and walked down the nearest row infront of me. Slowly I reached my hand up and ran my finger tips against the spines of the books as I made my way to the center of the room.

In the middle of it all were plush love seats and recliners with a coffee table, side tables, and dim lamps all arranged in a comfortable fashion. The aura the room gave off was thrilling. I looked up and around at the ceiling and bookshelves all around me. This discovery would have to be the best in the entire house.

I heard footsteps and jerked my head left towards the sound.

"Hmm..." I hear someone say. Adam appears from behind one of the rows of bookshelves, a stack of books in his hands.

"Adam?" I question, causing him look up at me.

He smiles genuinely, "Hey Lynn!"

"What are you doing here?" I ask him as he sits down on the loveseat and sets the stack of books down onto the coffee table infront of him.

"Checking out the library," he says with a sigh. "Simenal is, ya'know, pairing, grouping, whatever, with Astrid — so some trusted pack members are able to visit the territory and house. I guess to like bond with some of the pack or something."

"Awe, so you're a trusted member of your pack?" I ask taking a seat beside him.

He picks up one of the books and opens it but glances as me as he speaks, "You could say that." His smile grim.

"Well my mom just basically dumped a load of stress on me so I just now found this place."

"I've been here for a good two hours," he looks at his cell phone. "God, it's already twelve."

"Are you going home?"

He shakes his head, "You guys have a good amount of open guest rooms and Kelsy insisted I stay a few weeks."

I peak at the cover of the book he's reading and find myself lighting up. "You like Nightshade?"

A faint blush registers on his cheeks. He nods slowly.

"Oh my God that trilogy is amazing!"

He smiles, "Don't tell me what happens!"

Before I knew it a couple hours pass and it's two in the morning. Me and Adam had sat in the center of the library having a deep conversation on all the different kinds of books and genres we liked. To my surprise he enjoyed romance novels as much as me, and that's close to the only thing I read.

"Well I better get to sleep," I say with a yawn.

"Same here." he says stacking the books back up. "Hey," he looks at me. "What's your number?"

I find myself grinning from ear to ear, "Why would you need my number if you'll be here for a few weeks?"

His blush intensifies.

"Well, I-uh... I want to be able to get ahold of you?"

"1 (660)," I giggle as he fumbles for his cell phone. "1 (660)000-0000."

He presses the numbers down into his iPhone 5 quickly as I read them off.

"I'll see you later today." I say to him as I get up and make my way back to my room.
