Army StrongChapter Five
I moaned loudly as my skull throbbed against my head. The pressure in my head could kill a lesser women right now. I rolled over and hit a soft pillow. My eyebrows furrowed because I don't remember making it home and into my bed last night.
I opened my eyes and shot up remembering what happened last night. My eyes connected to a body sitting at the end of the bed. It was the man that had kidnapped me and just that thought had me taking my foot and kicking him in the face as hard as I could.
He was surprised by the action giving me enough time to run into a bathroom and locking the door. Just as I stepped inside the insanely huge bathroom I heard pounding on the other side.
"Blake open this door right now!" the man yelled from behind the door.
I ran to the window across the room and opened it kicking out the screen. I shimmied out onto the roof of the house that held me captive. As I walked on the roof I heard the man tackle the door and run to the open window.
"God damnit Blake!" he yelled as I climbed a tree down to the ground.
I was confused as to why and the hell he even knew my name but right now that didn't even matter. What mattered was getting out of here.
I set my bare feet on the ground and looked around at my surroundings. It looked like I was in the middle of no where so it's not like I could just run. I saw a car a few yards away from me in which I ran to and opened the door and locked it.
The adrenaline coursing through my veins made me think clearly as I pulled down the visor of the car where the keys were stored. How I knew that? I don't know.
Just as the man from the room exited the house I was backing out of the driveway and driving the car as far away as I could from here.
The man was running after the car with two more men beside him. The driveway was a straight shot to a paved road so I drove with the peddle hitting the floor. As I looked back at the review mirror I now saw three wolves chasing after the car. The black one was in the middle in which I remembered because he was stalking Lilly and I in Colorado.
I kept my breathing steady as I turned onto a road making the car fish tail. But I was a good driver because I was taught to drive tanks and larger vehicles than this SUV. I was worried about the wolves and didn't understand how three men were behind the car then three wolves. But I didn't have time to worry, I only had time to leave this place safely.
I looked down at the gasoline gage and groaned loudly noticing it slowly sink to where it said empty. I had to make it to a public place in order to be safe or I am screwed.
The car started slowing down just as I saw a gas station up ahead. I looked behind me and saw only an empty road. I most likely lost the wolves but only for a few minutes.
Just as I entered the parking lot I saw it was vacant. Nobody was there but there was another car in the parking lot. I jumped out of the SUV and opened the cars door. It was unlocked luckily.
Just as I was about to start the car the door beside me was yanked open even though it was locked and arms reached out and grabbed my body. I screamed loudly and hit the arms that held me.
It was the man that kept calling me Baby who held me tightly. His face was shadowed and held anger as he looked at the two other men behind him.
"Cover yourselves!" he ordered.
"Let me go!" I yelled into his ear as I squirmed in his arms.
He turned to me and held me tighter. I bit at his neck and tried hitting him in the face but he wouldn't let my arms free. So I did what any woman would do at this point, I kissed him. He was so shocked he stopped moving and tried kissing me back but before he could I pulled away and knocked him in the head.
