Later that day at Hinata's house
I walked to my room. I was so tired from school as I laid in my bed and looked at my ceiling. Suddenly I remembered my violin as I got up and went to my closet and pulled out my case. I had cleaned it every time I got the chance too.
As I was about to play the violin I remember the promise I made with her and then not even a month after her death I quit the violin
"pretty pathetic of me," I said then I raised my violin and started playing in the ears of other people it would be the most amazing thing ever but as I finished playing
"wow sho!" said my little sister Natsu
When did she get there and she had her friend with her they were both amazed by my music as I motioned for them to come into my room
"Just thought I could play a little didn't know I had an audience," I said embarrassed as much as I play the violin I can't hear the melody it's not that I'm deaf or anything it's just what happened
"that was amazing brother you should record it next time," she said to me enthusiastically
"that is not a bad idea you know I'll do it next time" as they got up and were exiting my room Natsu turned around
"don't give up even if you can't hear your own music. I'll be there to listen along with your whole audience so don't give up again," she said, and then she left.
I looked down to my violin "my audience huh?" never thought about them well as I finished up and put the violin back in the case I started doing my homework and then went to sleep
Time skip
"I'm late!" I said as a run to my bike only to see that it has a flat tire, great and mom already left so guess I'm running to the bus station then
Teams POV
Hinata was late which never happened Maybe it was the sign of a bad omen they all thought
"well as we can see Hinata was late let's start morning practice" just as Daichi finished the door to the gym slammed open and at the door was a very exhausted ginger boy
"I'm sorry my bike had a flat tire so I had to take the bus but then the bus broke down so I had to run halfway down the mountain to make it in time," he said as he bowed in apology
"its fine go get changed and then come back I doubt you need a warm-up," said Daichi as Hinata left to get changed
"why was he carrying a violin case?" asked Noya
"Maybe he'll quit volley and play music now," said Tsukishima
The whole team looked at him for a minute and then thought for a minute
"no way that's possible," they all thought
"what's not possible?" asked a new voice
"shoyo quitting volleyball" answered Tanaka
"Not anytime soon I'd say" we all turned around to see that it was shoyo standing by the door
"When did you get here," asked Tanaka
"a while ago" he replied
"well then why were you carrying the violin ?" asked Suga
"I'm meeting a friend after school to practice" answered Hinata casually
"Okay, why did you stop playing the violin?" asked Kageyama
"well I'm pretty sure you guys are dying to know right?" said Hinata
the whole team noded
"well as y'all know I played the violin not only was pretty famous when playing solo but most people loved my duet music with my piano partner Violet" he paused and then looked to the floor
"violet got sick from a terminal disease and well she didn't tell me until it was too late we both decided to then perform our last duet together and well, to be honest, I don't remember anything during the performance nor I have looked at the recorded video of it'' He said
"I then tried playing the violin with other people but it just didn't feel right and worse of all I couldn't hear my own music and then I decided to put music aside and play volleyball and become like the little giant" He finished with a sad smile
"Well do you play solo then?" asked Suga
"I only started to recently after my dad found out I quit playing he gave me a huge lecture about it" answered Hinata with a smile
"He helped me realize that musicians never give up and when we fail we always start over we may not be good with words but our music is our voice so I decided to give it a go again and I have a competition to go to in like two weeks" he finished proudly
"Wow cool can we go watch?" asked Noya and Tanaka enthusiastically
"I don't see why not" he replied
"Well I heard about you coming back to the stage from your father and now I find out I'm the last person to know," said a new voice
We all turned to the new arrival that was standing by the door
It was a beautiful lady with long orange hair she kinda resembles Hinata in a way we then turned to look at Hinata and he was pale
"Oi are you okay?" asked Kageyama
"Yeah" was all he replied
"Well I'll see you after school to practice and catch up like good old times right sho?" she said with smile that could rival the one Daichi gave when he was mad
"Yes of course sensei" stuttered Hinata
"Who was that?" asked Suga we all turned to look at Hinata
"She is my aunt Ayame Hinata and she is a very famous violin player and she's is my teacher and let's get one thing straight," he said
"What?" we all said
"She is a true demon when it comes to teaching" he replied
"Meaning?" we all questioned
"I might not live to my next performance," he said all dramatic with anime tears
"Good luck then" was all we could do as we did a silent prayer for him
