The music prodigy

chapter 8

"soon after her death and our last concert I did one last preformance by myself and to be honest it went terrible well to say that but I would't  know" as I said 

"and why is that?" asked Kageyama 

"well I never watched it and honestly I did not even want to preform but I did and when I asked my friends how my preformance was they said it was amazing and the best but I was not sure about it" I responded 

" why dont you watch it im sure there are videos of you some where in the internet?" he asked 

" nah i'm good plus it is just a remider of what I couldn't finish anyway after she died I don't really remeber what I did but I do know that I never really left my room and that my  mom was worried sick about me" I said without looking at them 

"it wasn't until I saw the little giant on Tv  that I had the motivation to start doing something again so after picking myself up I started to play Volleyball" I finished with a smile 

"well I suppose youre not gonna quit any time soon then?" asked kageyama 

"the fact that you still think that after I have told you that I dont plan on quiting volleyball" I replied to him while laughing 

" What ever" was all he said as he turned to look away from us as we all laughed at him

"but Violet if I may ask who was that back there?" I asked her

"he is my cousin and the current heir to the Nakamura family it used to be me but because of his mother and her plan to kick me out I ended up losing everything, not to mention my father didn't even belive me as he kicked me out the family" She replied with a sad smile in her face I could see the sadness from her eyes

" it's his loss, he doesn't know that he lost an amazing daughter so did you ever try to talk to him or not yet ?" I said to her 

"ever since I left I was to scared to talk to him not to mention ever since my mother died he completly ignored me and even blamed me for her death... but you know the day were he told me to go away and that I was a shame to the family i was a bit happy because at least I knew that he didn't see me as a complete failure.... " as she paused I could see tears forming in the corner of her eyes

" to think that I was just that desperate for his affection makes me sick, so now so I rather us cut ties and for him to not speak to me that way my hopes don't go up again that way I can walk my own way" she finised with a determined look on her face

"not everyone is born with loving and caring parents but im glad that you are able to put that behind you and move foward" I said to her 

" yeah we wish you the best Violet!" shouted Nishinoya and Tanaka 

"well its getting late now so it would be better to head home now and do not forget that we have practice tomorrow guys" said Daichi as we all got up and said goodbye and went our own ways 

I was walking with Violet since I was gonna stay at my aunt's house for the night and she lives there but the silence was a bit akward as I was about to say something 

"I wanted to thank you shoyo" she said to me as she stoped walking and looked at me 

"what for ?" I asked honestly I was confused 

" when we were about to preform honestly I was about to bail on you, but you told me that we are musicians so when we can't speak or use our words we should use our music to convey what we want to tell people it made feel like there was hope for me" she replied 

" well I want to thank you for not doing that because that was going to be a embarssing experience for me and let me tell you if that were to have happen I would bury myslef alive" I said as we both laughed as we continued to walk

"but on the other hand after I told told you about my life and I find it funny how you didn't tell me that I should not go after my revenge against them why?" she asked 

"well who am I to tell you what to do honeslty I would too so whatever you want to do go for it" I said "As long as its nothing illegal or murder im okay with that I suppose" I added quickly as I heard her laugh

"Im guessing you wouldn't want to be friends with a criminal then ? but dont worry it's nothing like that but thanks for the suport" she said as we arrived home 

"well goodnight" Violet I said as I was about to head to my room 

"hey sho I really do think that you should watch your last prefomace with her you never know it might give you the clousure that you wanted but it up to you but Goodnight" she said as she walked away

I could say nothing as I entered my room and turned off the light and laid on my bed but after an hour I reached for my phone and looked up the video as I pressed play......
