Chapter 5

Hinata's POV

" mom you can let go of me now," I said after getting into the car with my mom

"Honestly you're going to kill me of a heart attack one of these days I heard from sister in law that you plan to come back to the music industry," said my mom she knew that I had quit but she never pushed me to get back up again she always loved hearing me practice my violin

" I want you to know that you have my full support again like you always have' she said with a smile on her face I know that she's been through a lot and after Violet's death we drifted further apart but she always tried to cheer me up

"Yeah I thought it was time to finally move forward even without her here I know that as long as I play my music our memories will never die" I smiled back at her I could see tears forming in her eyes as she hugged me

" Thank you, mom, for everything" I whispered to her while hugging her back as we reached the house

Time skip

" wow even after all the practice I still get nervous," said Hinata

"How are you holding up violet ?" I asked while I turn to look at her she was as pale as a ghost I thought she would cross the river any given minute

"Stay with me violet even though it's been years since our performance. We are still veterans right?" I said while shaking her

She looked at me with a dead expression

"Well all you have to do is play like there is no one in the room just the two of us, my old partner used to say play like it was the last day of our lives," I said to her with a smile

She looked at me and put a smile on "yes I suppose you're right to let's play like that"

As we both walked towards the stage with a smile on our faces

Teams POV

"Wow we actually ended up coming to see his performance ?" asked Tsukishima

"Well coach did cancel practice so we had nothing to do anyway" answered Daichi as we all took our seats and saw Hinata and the girl walk out to the stage

"Wow they look so cool," said Noya

Violet POV

"Wow I'm finally back to the stage," I said looking down at the piano keys

"Sora I will never forgive you for what you did"

"I may not be able to take revenge but me being up here is the most I can do"

"Because I know you're in the audience," I said

Flashback time 😁

Ever since I was little I have always loved the piano the music that my family created was a beautiful

By the time I was 7 I started playing the piano I wanted to make the Nakamura name proud so I practiced all that I could never do other things

Then I met Sora he was my first real friend he was also my cousin unlike me who practiced till I was no longer able to play he was a natural-born at playing the piano

Naturally, as the next heir of the Nakamura family, I had to be an amazing player however when he came all the attention was turned to him

I became his shadow unable to see the light or hear my own music then one day he came to me and we talked like the old friends we used to be as if me being replaced never really happened I was so happy that I was able to see a spark of light

However, I was too naive to think everything would go back to normal

That day Sora injured his arm I was so worried about him I called an ambulance and he was rushed to a hospital I wasn't able to go with him because my aunt called me over I thought it was strange but went regardless

When I was finished I went back to see Sora at the hospital but for some reason, I had a feeling that something bad was going to happen how I wished things didn't turn out this way

When I entered the room my parents and aunt were there

"Are you feeling better Sora?" I asked concerned ignoring the looks everyone gave me

"What are you saying you still have the guts to ask him after what you did to him?" yelled my mother

I was so shocked I only broke out when I felt someone slap me back to reality as I looked to see who it was my tears were starting to form in my eyes it was my mother who hit me

"What are you talking about I didn't do it he fell by accident I wasn't involved in any way tell them Sora," I said but my voice was shaking as I looked at Sora

Little did I know that the last bit of light that I saw that day I would turn to regret for the rest of my life

"What are you saying cousin you pushed me down and I broke my arm I just wanted to get along with you but you didn't then you ran away without helping me," he said as he cried

WHAT ARE YOU?- then it hit me I was set up it was a trick by both my most trusted friend and my aunt to make me lose my place as heir of the Nakamura clan

I've read books where this would happen to characters but one thing is seeing and another is actually experiencing it how it burns to see the people you love the most turn away from you

"HAHA wow, I can't believe this is how low you two would go just for me I have to say thank you I'm honored this is the most attention I have ever received in my entire life!" I said with tears in my eyes as I laughed

" Have you no shame!" yelled my aunt as she slapped me again, to be honest, I was to hurt to care

" I really don't what to do this but I hereby remove you as the heir to the Nakamura clan and you will no longer belong to this family leave I don't want to see you ever again," said my father coldly to me

"Very well if that is what you wish I will happily comply but as some words of advice what goes around come back eventually," I said as I left the hospital I reached a park where I was finally able to let it out

"WHY I ALL I EVER WANTED WAS TO BE loved and acknowledged by you WHY was I always the foolish one WHY? .......me"

"WHAT DID I EVER DO WRONG?" I yelled out the last thing I remember was bright orange hair then I passed out
