chapter 15

I had no clue where I was going. I was running as fast as my legs would take me. I could hardly see from the tears in my eyes. Why would he say I was only friend? Was this his way of breaking up with me?

I ran into an ally and sat down, trying to get the tears to stop. I just wanted all of this to be a dream.

When my sobs started to slow down, someone cleared their throat. I turned around to see who it was. When I saw him, my heart sank. I was scared. What was he going to do to me?

"Hello, Toni" He said.

"What do you want, Ronnie? How did you even find me?" I asked trying to hide the shaking in my voice.

"Well, I told you to stop seeing that boy. You clearly have a problem with following directions. Since you continue to see him, I'm going to have make sure you can't see him." He said, while walking in a circle around me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, standing up.

"You're never going to see those idiots ever again." He said. I did the first thing that I could think of. I started to run. I wasn't fast enough though. He grabbed my arm and slung me into a wall.

I hit the brick wall with so much force. I hadn't realized I was screaming in pain until he said "Shut up, you stupid Slut"

When I looked up he had something in his hands. I couldn't figure out what it was, but before I even had time to take a guess, he hit me over the head with it. Before I knew it, everything went black.

*Liam's P.O.V.*

I saw Toni run off after I said that. I didn't say it to hurt her at all. I was just worried about the fans giving her hate. Hopefully she will let me explain that. I hate seeing her cry. It breaks my heart.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when the interviewer started talking.

"Well, that's all the time we have for today. Everyone put your hands together one more time for One Direction!"

Everyone was clapping as we got up and walked back stage. I need to find Toni. I need to explain. I need to apologize. I saw Paul and decided I would ask if he saw where she went.

"Hey Paul, did you see where Toni went?" I asked hopefully.

"She ran that way" he said pointing towards the exit.

I ran out of the building hoping she would be out there, but she wasn't. I walked and hoped I would find her. I walked past an ally and there were so many people, and police. I walked closer trying to get a better look. I stopped a police officer. Maybe he will tell me what's going on.

"What happened here, sir?" I asked.

"Someone saw a girl being beaten and taken away." The officer said said sadly.

"Did they give a description of the girl?" I asked quietly.

"They said she had short blonde hair, she was crying, she was wearing a blue shirt, and light blue skinny jeans." He said. "Sir, does this description resemble anyone you know?"

"M-my g-girlfriend." I studdered.

"We're going to find her." He assured me, but I was too upset to listen. I walked away and towards the hotel. Once I got there I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called her with tears in my eyes.

It rang twice and a male voice answered.

"Oh Liam. Have you called to speak to your beloved girlfriend?" His cold voice said.

"WHERE IS SHE?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!" I yelled through the phone.

"Calm down. You don't want anything to happen to precious little Toni, now do you?" He said. I could just picture the evil grin on his face.
