It was almost as if the air in Camila's lungs were knocked out of her, leaving her panting and struggling to stay conscious.

Why wouldn't he tell her? She had no idea. From the looks of their situation, she assumed that he was single. They shared countless intimate moments with one another so Camila wouldn't necessarily think that he wasn't single.

Or maybe, he was. Nevertheless, Camila still was yet to find out.

"He's um...he is outside...in the back." She was a stuttering mess. She could possibly be losing the guy that she was falling for or maybe, she already had.

After Camila cleared her thoughts (somewhat) she made her way back to where Shawn stood. His back was to Camila and she watched as the two interacted. He seemed emotionless but she didn't want to intrude so instead, she poured herself some water and made herself comfortable on the front door steps.

Camila was confused, anguished, and frustrated. Confused because she had no idea who that girl was and if she did, Shawn never mentioned her. He didn't mention having a girlfriend or being intimate with anyone. Anguished because she felt as if she was being played whether it was unintentional or not. Frustrated because she had no idea what was going on anymore.

To her, this party had gone to shit yet she enjoyed the events that were held beneath all of it. Although, she didn't quite enjoy that she was harassed and now she might have to face problems including feeling a sense of heartbreak if she was to find out that Shawn had a girlfriend.

"Mind if I sit here with you?" The voice was at first unrecognizable to her but it soon came clear to her that it was Miles.

Miles was also on the soccer team. She had to admit, he was really good along with the rest of the team. He was always kind to her and she could tell that he was respectful of other people, much like Shawn.

She smiled up at him and nodded, patting the floor beside her. "So-" he made himself comfortable, "-where's Shawn?" Camila sighed, "inside...somewhere." She shrugged, not really wanting to talk about him at the moment.

Soon enough, they had a flow of great conversation going on and Camila had forgotten about her worries for once. Although, despite the assumptions she had, she'd still much rather be with Shawn than anyone else.

"Really?" Camila giggled at the story that Miles was currently telling her, "yes! I literally face planted in front of the girl I liked at the time and it was like...the most embarrassing day of my life." He threw his head back in laughter as did Camila. Her giggling fit settled down, "did you get the girl at least?"

He shook his head, "nope."

"That sucks but hey, at least you didn't mess up your face too bad, I suppose." She lightened the mood and she could feel him lean his body closer to hers. "I mean...it definitely didn't mess up my face because if it did-" he cockily ran his fingers through his hair, winking at her, "-I wouldn't look this good right now" she chuckled at that, "alright, alright." She had to admit, he was attractive but she was not nearly as attracted to him as she was to Shawn. Though, she had to thank Miles for helping her forget about Shawn for the time being.

That was until she heard his voice call out to her from behind and she looked over her shoulder to be met with Shawn's very confused stare. "You...um...you ready to go?" She nodded, giving Miles a hug before trailing off with Shawn.

It was silent for the most part before Shawn stopped at a red light and spoke to her, "so...what did Miles and you talk about?" She could hear the annoyance in his voice and Camila rolled her eyes, "just...got to know each other. I don't know." She shrugged not catching Shawn's eyes roll. "What about you?" She asked, looking at him for only a second. He raised an eyebrow, "what about me?"
