Two hours later and I'm on an airplane bound for Spain. Silas and Shu have teamed up back in America to recruit those they deem fit.

I'm here on my own mission.

I need to find Wakiya Murasaki and demand for his guidance to locate Theodore. Then I'll hit BC Sol and negotiate with Valt Aoi and Free De La Hoya. Silas was surprised Shu trusted me on my own, but I'm confident my charisma will be enough.

As a woman in the world of Beyblades, I'm used to being doubted and underappreciated. But I don't think this is the case with Silas. He's getting defensive after our argument. He's angry with me, but knows I'm right. His reluctance can only stretch so far.

Sunbat United has the most extraordinary headquarters I've yet to see. The luxurious velvet carpeting on the pathway to Wakiya's office never ceases to amaze. I was informed he is in here by one of his teammates; which is a shock to me.

Wakiya's quite the perfectionist, it's hard to see him relaxing at a desk instead of training his ass off. I couldn't help but wonder what type of expensive lumber was used in the making of the door, but I feel foolish. I didn't come here to admire the facility.

I push open the door. He's sat in a soft office chair with his feet propped on the end of his desk beside the antique glass jar filled with ink. His eyes are fixed on a paper, he's so focused it took him a few seconds to acknowledge my arrival.

"Discordia!" He exclaims, standing up from his chair thus knocking it backward.

"It's been a while."

He smiles for a moment, but it's quickly replaced with a look of determination.

"Have you still been boxing? Keeping up with your Bey training? You've better been practicing! My Wyvron and I have only gotten stronger since last time!" He shouts, and of that, I have no doubt. "Yes and yes, but I'm actually here regarding other matters." I elaborate, he seems disappointed; then confused. "You should've called. I had no idea you were coming." He lectures.

"I came as quickly as possible. I need your help, Wakiya."

"W-What?"

"Theodore Glass is back."

He drops his quill. Everyone fears Theodore. But then he surprises me. I'm met with a cocky grin. "I see." He turns to his computer. "I'll see to it that my team locates him straight away, anything else you need?" I'm stunned for a moment. I did expect things to go this well. "Actually, yes." This is my opportunity to get our first recruit. Wakyia is powerful. I've battled him, I would know; but am I willing to put him in danger?

I put Silas and Shu in danger already. I am responsible for this. It is my duty to make sure we build a capable team. "Shu Kurenai and I planning to negotiate with Theodore. He's after me. We need to build a team to wage against him." He scoffed. "Why would he be after YOU of all people? Just because you beat me once doesn't mean you're the stronger blader!" I sigh. If he would put his ego aside for one moment and take this seriously I would be beyond grateful. "I don't know, Wakyia. Silas Karlisle and I were in my dorm room and he attacked me. If Silas wasn't there he would've taken me then and there, but he lost that battle."

"Are you telling me you're betting your LIVES?" He slams his hands on the desk. I hit a nerve, this distress is new. Was it Silas? "We don't have a choice anymore. He'll come after use either way." He let his hands hang lifeless by his side, head hanging low. I can't read him. A likely possibility is that he's worried about his safety. "But if we build a strong enough team we can defeat him, once and for all."

He suddenly perks up again and seizes his signature purple jacket from a rack in the corner. "I'm going to America with you." Now I'm the one hanging my head. Guilt is a painful feeling. I can't help but feel ashamed but dragging him into this. None of them would be in danger if Silas had just let Theodore take me. Why didn't he just let Theodore fucking take me? "I have to make a stop at BC Sol."

He lets out a long sigh. "Who else are you putting in danger?" He wants me to know he doesn't approve of this. "Valt Aoi and Free De La Hoya," I answer slowly. "And you're certain we can beat him?"

I pause.

"Yes."

That was a lie. But we won't even have a shot if we don't pull the trigger. "Good. Then off to BC Sol we go." He shuffled uncomfortably, staring at his feet now. There's something wrong. "I think you should go back to America and check on Silas and Shu. I'll go to BC Sol. Valt is going to want to hear this from me."

I shrugged. I was missing my bed and my stadium right about now. Cutting the trip early wouldn't do any harm, Wakiya won't leave without them. "Very well. Fly in tomorrow. Silas, Shu, and I will meet you at the headquarters." He sighed and smiled. Relief. But why? "Okay." I turned to walk away and outside the door.

"Wait."

I look over my shoulder at Wakiya, confused.

"We have to win." He's clenching Wyvron in his hand so hard I'm surprised it hasn't burst.

"We will."

We have to.

Everything is riding on this.
