I remain in first-aid with the Omega for about two hours while I wait for both my wounds to heal and for him to wake up. The Nurses don't know what a Strengthening Potion is and, because I'm the daughter of a trusted witch/alchemist, they've left me to deal with him while he's asleep. Plus, they refuse to give first-aid to him just like he said they would. While I've been here, I've re-bandaged my wounds and used some of the healing cream to help the wounds heal faster. My arm was near enough unrecognisable underneath all the wounds and the blood - it's a surprise I didn't pass out from blood loss. The Curse is good for some things, I suppose.

When the Nurses asked what happened, I just said that one of the werewolves was angry with me for stepping on his tail and he couldn't stop attacking me when he tasted blood. They then asked what happened to the Omega and I said that he stuck up for me and got a bit beat up. I'm not going to grass the Omega up for what he did - although he may deserve whatever punishment that he would've gotten if I had. Right now though, he's stable and still asleep. I've checked his wounds underneath the bandages and they're near enough completely healed, so I've taken the bandages off of his forehead and shoulder. The claw marks across his face are now just faint lines, but I'm hoping these will fade as the days go by.

Finally, he lets out a soft moan and his head shifts over to one side to face me as I watch his chest to make sure his breathing is okay. I head over to the room door and quietly close it to give us some privacy, then I sit back down on the chair next to his bed. His eyes open slightly and I can see confusion as he sees me sitting there next to his head.

"Have a nice sleep, Sleeping Beauty?" I ask in a slightly playful tone.

He lets out another moan as his vision most likely comes into focus and he blinks multiple times. "Wha...where am I?" He asks, his voice groggy from being out for so long. He tries to sit up but I gently push him back down onto the bed with one hand.

"Take it easy. I gave you a Strengthening Potion. You've been out for 2 and a half hours." I explain softly. "You'll feel a bit groggy for a while yet, so stay down. You're in first-aid."

The Omega doesn't bother defying me as his eyes open fully and he stares at me. "Now I remember. You helped me..after I tried to hurt you." He recalls, wincing. "And you..."

"Yeah. I had wolf ears and a tail." I quickly cut him off quietly in case anyone is walking in the corridor outside. "Potion mix-up."

"Yeah..." He answers, blinking. As I stare at his eyes from underneath the blindfold, the eye that I punched him in doesn't look right - it's a bit off and unfocused. It looks like there is something in it.

"Is your eye okay?" I ask, reaching my hand out towards his face. He lifts up his hand and pushes mine away as he answers.

"Um...yeah? Aside from the fact that it's been punched." He says, his tone a little bit pointed at me.

I wince and look away at the mention of what I did to him; I still can't forgive myself for letting the Curse get away from me like that. I know I said I would let it take over if I had no choice, but I didn't expect my body to be this brutal. No wonder why my mum says I can never show my eyes to anyone - I'm not in full control of the Curse yet. I don't know if I'll ever get it under control like my father did before he went insane from it.

"I...I'm sorry...I..." I whisper, trailing off as guilt crashes over me.

He gives a small chuckle. "Don't worry about it. I deserve it." He says as he reaches up to his still slightly black eye and gives it a rub. His eye is looking more on centre and focused on me now. Weird.

"How does your chest feel?" I ask, changing the subject before the tears start building their mountains in my eyes as I look back at him.

"Well...it doesn't feel like I've had a rock pressed against it for ages so...I guess it feels okay..." He says, trying to sit up again. I don't try to get him to lie back down because the potion will have mostly worn off by now. Once the Omega is up, he looks around the room once, then looks back at me as I stay seated.
