'So how's school?' Chaelin unnie questioned on their way back home. She had to drop HeeSoo off and then get back to her dorm where she was supposed to live.
'Ah it's fine' heesoo merely whispered
'What happened? Bullies again?'
HeeSoo gave her a little nod which caused her to sigh.
'Unnie! Gwaenchanh-ayo! I'm still trying to fit in.. Some day maybe'
'Yah! yah! yah! Why are you trying to fit in? Don't be typical! Aish you should stand out.. Sure fitting in will make it easier but remember, standing out will make you more successful and much happier in the future! Trust me i know'
'But chen oppa and xiumin oppa seem so happy and they fit in.. I just don't get why everyone hates me' HeeSoo looked down to hide the tears that were forming in her eyes.
Chaelin brought the car to a hault. 'Nobody hates you! They are just jealous! Instead of focusing on those who stab you with their words and actions, focus on those who are willing to shower you with their love'
HeeSoo nodded and gave her a weak smile. 'Ne-ne unnie'
She started the engine and continued the drive. 'Well anyway, have you been singing, dancing and rapping lately?'
Chaelin spoke, trying to change the atmosphere.
'A-aniyo'
'Wae'
'I've been busy with school and all'
'Ahhh i see well i will be arranging an audition for you soon. Papa YG has agreed and he's looking forward to seeing you'
'M-mwo? Jinja?'
'Nae' chaelin beamed a smile at Heesoo as she stopped infront of the house.
'Well off you go! And remember, be yourself! Okay? Bye!!'
'Nae unnie! Bye!!!' With that HeeSoo rushed out of the car and into the house.

'And remember, be yourself!'
Her unnie's words echoed in HeeSoo's head as she lay in bed, staring into the darkness.
'Unnie is right.. I'm trying to hard to fit in even though i know i'll never be able to do so. I need to be my self. I need to be original. I was born original, why should i die a copy. That's it! No more fitting in! I'm gonna be who i am and will prove every hater wrong.' She thought and drifted off to dreamland.

The wait had come to an end. it was finally the day. The audition day. If one could die of nervousness, HeeSoo would have been long dead. She should just bail out, she wasn't confident enough anyway.
'Lee HeeSoo?' She was about to bail out when she heard her name being called.
'That's me.' HeeSoo said while standing up.
'Follow me' he gave her a comforting smile 'you'll do great don't worry!'
'Thanks, that's helpful'
'Well here we are! Good luck' he said gesturing to a room labelled 'audition room'
'Thanks i'm going to to need it'
She took in a deep breadth and stepped in. She was welcomed by smiling faces.
'Lee heeSoo-ah! I've been looking forward to meeting you! You can call me papa yg.'
'Nice to meet you sir'
'Nae, you may start!' He gave an encouraging smile.
'N-nae' with that HeeSoo-ah sung 'missing you' by 2ne1. She poured her heart and soul in the performance.
Papa YG listened with great concentration, wearing an emotion-less face making it impossible for HeeSoo to decipher his feelings for her performance.
She ended the song and looked at the judge, questioning his decision.
