Chapter 8

Jaeyang's POV:

'What?' I knew she was dying of curiosity and it was very amusing for me.
'Well first i'll tell you the boring things' i grinned evilly.
'Yah!! No fair' she crossed her arms and puffed up her cheeks like a five year old.
'Aigoo! You look so cute!' I pinched her cheeks.
'Aish oppa!' she slapped away my hand 'tell me already' her tone was firm. I had never really seen this side of her, but then again i had only worked with her a bit over a week.
'Araseo! Araseo! Learn to be patient' i rolled my eyes 'so yanggoon hyung wants yo-'
'Wait who's yanggoon?' She seemed bewildered. WHAT? She didn't know the name of the CEO of YG? What? I stared at her wide eyed. I was so confused.
'Mwo? I don't know him.'
'He's YG's CEO for god sake how do you not know him?'
'Oh you mean papa yg? So that's his name. Wow it's weird isn't it? That i still don't know his name' she let out a nervous laugh.
'It is. Well anyway he wants you to prepare some songs for your new album, so he'll listen to the first song tomorrow okay? Be ready!' I saw her expression change from excited to bored in no time.
'Nae!' She flatly replied 'anything else?'
'Yup!!' Okay now was the time. It would help uplift her mood.
'So.. I've been told that....'
'Hurry up oppa i don't have all day' she was starting to get annoyed. It seemed weird because i heard she was not like this at all.
'Well you know about mama awards right?'
'Duh! They're the biggest asian awards ever!' She exclaimed.
'Nae! So you've been invited to perform your solo single, and-'
'WHAT???? HOW? ME? IS THIS REAL LIFE?'
'Woah woah calm down! Let me finish'
'Nae, mianhe oppa!' She looked ashamed
'Gwaenchanha! Well anyway G-Dragon, and 2ne1 also have a performance. And you've also been nominated for 2 awards as well'
'MWO? WHICH?' She was hyper again.
'Best new artist and best asian style award'
'OMO OMO WOW THIS IS SO COOL!' She jumped around the room and did the happy dance.
Aish this girl. 'Yah! Yah! Yah! It's not until next week! For now if i was you, i'd prepare the song i had to present to papa yg'
'Nae oppa! I'll work hard!' She bowed and beamed an ear-to-ear smile. I couldn't help but chuckle. She's such a lively girl, you can never be bored with her.
'I'll be going now! Hwaiting!' I gave a slight bow and walked out.

HeeSoo's POV:
This was a dream come true! I've been nominated for an award? Not one but 2 awards? I still couldn't believe this. I wanted to jump around and scream and shout in joy but then i realised I HAD TO PERFORM ASWELL! In front of thousands of people! It was going to be my first ever concert. Well i knew i had to do it sooner or later, but i didn't expect to start this grand.
All my excitement died down and a rush of nervousness travelled through me. It had always been my dream to be famous but i never really had the confidence to support it. But now, i really need to build that confidence because it's too late to back down. Half of Asia already know about my debut and if i quit now, i'll be Asia's biggest loser and i don't want that. I won't be that coward all my life. I can do this.

It was finally the day. The day i perform live for the first time. Millions of people will be watching me on international television and live in the arena.
I couldn't help but sweat bullets as the car neared the building where it would all happen. I could see overexcited fans on the sidewalk holding banners and screaming their idols names. I wonder if any of them were fans of me. I let out a slight chuckle. The thought seemed so bizarre.
'We're here!' Jaeyang oppa chimed. I could feel my arms and legs shake due to the nervousness.
'Ready for the red carpet?'
'Aniyo' i blurted. I just wanted to go home and hide under my bed.
'Yah! It'll be great! Come on now! You can't back out! The stylist worked hard although you won't perform like this but still.' Jaeyang oppa tried his hardest to convince me to get out.
'Can we wait for 2ne1 to come?' I guess if unnie would have been around it would have been easier for me to walk the red carpet.
'They are already inside but bigbang just arrived. You could go with them?'
'Omo! Yes! Taeyang oppa is supportive too' I smiled and made my way out of the car. As i was about to walk towards where bigbang stood, a SUV made it's way near the spot i stood. The doors swiftly opened and one by one 12 handsome boys jumped out. Amongst them i saw my brothers who i was about to greet but suddenly my eyes spotted the figures of the two people i wanted to avoid. Their sights brought back agonising memories. My childhood enemy and my childhood best friend. Kim Jongin and Huang ZiTao. Both were now nothing to me just like i was nothing to them. Kai's hate did not bother me anymore but Tao's disappointment still pained me.
I could feel tears dwell up in my eyes as i saw the two of them laugh and joke around. They were friends. Wow. Tao chose him over me.
I quickly turned around and made my way to the red carpet painting on the best fake smile i could manage. I wanted to break down and cry but i had to stay strong. The loud screaming of fans enveloped me.
'HEESOO-AH CAN I GET AN AUTOGRAPH?'
'CAN I GET A PICTURE!'
'HEESOO-AH OVER HERE!'
'UNNIE SARANGHAE!!!'
'HEESOO UNNIE YOU ARE THE BEST!'
These were some of the sentences i was able to make out.
I made my way to my fans complying to their requests of autographs and pictures. I was so overwhelmed. It was not long before jaeyang oppa came to get me.
I followed jaeyang oppa through the crowded backstage area in search of my dressing room.
'HeeSoo-ah!' I heard a familiar jolly voice.
'Oppa!' I turned around and squealed as i was taken in a tight embrace.
'How have you been? It's been so long! Aish dongsaeng why do you not meet your oppas anymore? Are you too busy for family?' Pinched the bridge of my nose.
'Mianhe oppa! I have been really busy and we don't even live together anymore so it's really hard to meet you and minseok oppa, mian!' I said and gave a 50 degree bow.
'It's fine! I've been busy too so you're not to shoulder the blame alone' jondae oppa was so happy-go-lucky and that's what i loved about him. I really did missed him.
'Chen-ssi! We need to practise! Are you coming or what?' A handsome fair-skinned guy said.
'Coming luh-ge!' Chen gave a nod 'i'll introduce you to my band members! Kaja'
'Ani, it's fine' i tried to resist but i was already being dragged through the crowd.
