Chapter 5

'T-trainee???' Tao stuttered, his eyes were wide in disbelief.
'Um y-yeah... Uh but anyway this is taeyang oppa from big bang, taeyang oppa this is tao, my bestest friend in the whole world' she introduced them, trying her best to avoid the previous topic.
'Hey! Nice to meet you' taeyang gave him a warm smile while extending his hand towards him.
'Omo 😱 taeyang hyung i'm a huge fan! I know it took a while to realise that it's you but omo it's you! What? Is this a dream uwaaaahhhh!!!'
'Aish tao-ssi calm down' heeSoo said slapping his arm.
'Haha it's okay.. You can hangout around whenever you want tao, a friend of HeeSoo is a friend of mine' taeyang managed to put an arm around the much taller guy beside him.
'Omo! Jinja?'
'Nae!' Taeyang gave him an eye smile. Tao managed to control his emotions so he didn't pass out.
'Well we'll go meet chaelin unnie because afterwards tao has to leave' HeeSoo interrupted their little meeting.
'Araseo' with that taeyang walked off to his practise room.

'Yah aren't you gonna come with me?' Tao stepped infront of HeeSoo causing her to halt.
'Aniyo' she barely mumbled.
'Wae?? We always study together'
'Not anymore tao' she looked down to her feet so she wouldn't have to meet Tao's gaze.
'Wae? Are ditching me? Have you found a new bff? Am i not good enough for you anymore? It's taeyang hyung right? Well obviously you'd forget me after getting a famous bff like him, right?Tao questioned with a hurt look.
'Mwo? Ani!!! It's not that! I just am busy now' she still refused to look up.
'Yah look at me!' She finally dared to look up. 'Busy with what? Huh? Are you the prime minister now? And what was all that trainee shit about?'
'ahh well.. Um..'
'Speak!' He whispered harshly.
'Well i auditioned at YG and i'm a trainee now.'
'And you didn't tell me this, why?'
'Because i was scared you'd not believe me or judge me. I don't know.'
'You really think i'd judge you? That's obviously what i've proved with my loyalty after all these years' he raised his voice.
'Yah tao-ssi, that's not what i mean'
'Forget it! I'm not even in the mood to meet your unnie any more! I'm leaving, bye' With that he walked towards the exit.
'Tao oppa! Listen to me' heeSoo begged but she received no reply.
'Mianhe tao-ssi' she mumbled under her breath, trying her best to avoid the tears that were struggling to escape the from the corner of her eyes. She felt as if all the life had been drained out from her body. She had disappointed her only true friend and it truly hurt her more than it hurt him. She dragged herself to the practise room and sulked for the rest of the day, instead of practising.

HeeSoo dreaded entering the school building, knowing Tao won't be there to hangout with her. She dragged herself to class but as she was about to enter she was blocked by a tall skinny figure. Park yoonhyun. Like Kai, she also bullied her, maybe because she was his girlfriend. Huh what a perfect couple.
'What now?' Heesoo barely mumbled.
Yoonhyun leaned forward and took hold of HeeSoo's ponytail and yanked it hard.
'Didn't anyone teach you manners? Huh? Oh wait! I forgot you were always a poor orphan. Your parents disowned you because they were also disgusted by your existence so how would you know any manners?' She smirked. HeeSoo's eyes went wide. 'How did you..' Was all what she was able to say. She could feel all eyes on her. The little crowd that had gathered was snickering and whispering about her misfortune. 'Could tao have told her? Or told all of them?' She thought 'could he? Would he? No. He couldn't.. He wouldn't.... But how else does she know' tears formed at the back of her eyes. She tried her best to fight them but her eyes betrayed them and the tears began staining her cheeks.
'Aww the poor orphan is crying.' She gave another yank to her ponytail and then pushed her to the ground. 'You always looked like an orphan to me, and apparently i was right' she laughed and walked away.
HeeSoo couldn't believe what just happened. Her mind refused to comprehend it all. She got up and ran. She had no idea where she was going but she just wanted to get away from everything.
After running for some minutes, she found herself on the school rooftop. She couldn't believe what just happened, she was humiliated in front of the whole class and soon the whole school will know. She wondered why life hated her so much. Who could have disclosed her biggest secret?
Only tao knew she was an orphan, other than her siblings of course. According to her unnie, she and HeeSoo were sent to the orphanage right after HeeSoo's birth. Chaelin was not aware of the reason as she was just 7 at the time. They were later adopted by the Kim family where they got their two foster brothers , Kim Jondae and Kim minseok. Although the family seemed perfect at first but it turned out that their father was abusive. The adoptive mother had no choice but to leave him, taking all her children. adoptive and real . But shortly after that, their mother died because of a stroke. Chaelin, who was 12 at the time vowed to take care of the family. She auditioned in YG and made it in. This way she was able to support the family.
Although it was just the past, it was still painful, and now yoonhyun brought back all the bad memories which she was trying to forget.
She sat there and allowed her tears to flow. Letting all her feelings out. 'What am i gonna do now' she choked on her tears. There was only one person that could help. Although she didn't want bother her but she had no choice.
Before she knew it she was dialling her unnie's number.
'Yeobosayeo?'
'Unnie.. come and... pick me..jebal' HeeSoo spoke in between sobs.
'Gwaenchancha?'
'Just come!'
